It is so nice to see Istebrak in a better place and making connections with good people. Thank you for this talk, it was wonderful to listen to her open up and genuinely happy to connect.
Heya wow amazing. It is so wonderful to hear new perspectives. after years of listening researching and experiences, there is always something new to learn. You talk about getting burnt out/ drained and doing something other than art. This is so true as I have had many times when I would try to tackle a problem head on. but then just going away, even just out to shop to get a coffee, boom It feels better and I can start to come with better solutions.
This will forever be one of my favourite art talks, it felt like two souls meeting again in this life from past incarnations. It was Such a soul filling conversation. Art is still a part of my life thanks to Istebrak. Her educational content and her love for teaching and her care for students kept me pursuing painting. Hearing her on Adam’s pod has been a real treat. His deepdives into her portraits gave me a lot more to reflect on. He communicates such complex topics with so much weight, so much emotion and insight. So glad to have these 2 legends share their love for art. I was constantly smiling throughout the podcast. Thank you Istebrak and Thank you Adam. Hope to see more of these.❤❤❤❤

This made my art brain truly relax and just be happy for a bit. Can relate to soo much you two were discussing! We need more kind and empathetic people sharing their views and experiences and help other people connect that way too!❤
Adam, man I was listening while I was in the gym. I laughed about life conversation. Life simply pulls us out from our cave just to see it and live in it and eventually get slapped and receive pain so we can learn. Some good scenarios, we receive rewards instead of pain. Both are two faces of the same coin called life. And both are good learning milestones. Soon we "level up" and "rewards & pain" level up as well. To end it in a good point, if you are a good person, you "will" receive the reward you desire eventually. I just felt sharing this. Hope it is not too much to absorb. But I learned a lot and loved the conversation.
I've been watching Istebrak for around 10 years now, pretty much since she started youtube. I've certainly dipped in and out of her channel over that time and taken large breaks from her content, but I've always been aware of her work.
The sheer volume and quantity of high quality FREE education on RUclips from Istebrak is so understated. She’s had such a direct hand in my knowledge and wrestling with the fundamentals.
This is so wholesome, two beautiful souls speaking their minds. I so needed to hear these voices together ♥️♥️♥️

This was one of the best art talks I've ever listened to on your channel, Adam. I felt my heart race & I smiled throughout the conversation between you & Istebrak. I love how she captures the human soul through her portraits too. I can relate to her philosophy when it comes to art & that's why I love painting portraits too. I really felt comforted by your conversation related to imperfections, especially because I was doubting myself lately when it came to my art. You guys are absolute legends inthe art community. I feel like art is often a passion where artist often fall in the trap of feeling and lonely and giving up but I think art is also where the best connection happen. The way you and Istebrak Connect together is the proof that when you are with the right person in your Life you can just be a better version. When you two express them selves, it makes me want to improve for the rest of my Life. I’m 17 years old, and at the bigining of my carreer and I’m so glad that I discovered your art talks so soon.
