  • Fenix brought the E35R our way and we were very excited to take a look. It is a slim 21700 (yes, it can happen) with 3100 lumens! Come along and see if this is hindered by any sort of issues, or if this is going to be our next 'go-to' pocket carry!

Fenix is one of the best in terms of warranty. That's One thing that definitely impresses me, is how much they can stand behind their products!

I like the beam on the e35r and the rose gold accents. Everything else I would change. Ui, led, knurling, machining, etc. the T3 looks pretty sweet and has a nice beam. Great review bud

I like the design of the body, but there should be a few small tweaks to the UI for sure.

The saddles on the tail end of it are to basically expand the diameter in case you wanna stand it straight up and it’s not hooked to steel with the magnet,, it just gives the diameter a little more so it stands up better..

I prefer the TS25 from Wurkkos for a 21700 EDC light that doubles as a power bank. Can't live without Anduril 2 lol
    Great review!

It's almost perfect and I hate it for that haha.
I live in Rotterdam and there is unfortunately quite a lot of (immigration-related crime). I like going out on my bike and cycling at high speed for 2 hours straight, preferably at night, because of the super overcrowding here in the densely populated Netherlands...
The number of times I come across shady and untrustworthy figures with their hoods over their heads in gangs each time, speaking a foreign language and looking up to no good, is absolutely insane.
I tend to carry a sofirn sc32, because it has a very easy tail switch with two fast presses for an immediate 2000 lumens self defence throw. The fact this fenix has 1. A difficult to locate side button and 2. A lockout mode that can't be changed, before you can even throw the full lumens output in self defence is just not worth it for me, eventhough I might sound paranoid or whatever.
A flashlight needs to serve just as much as a self defence mechanism, because as dutch people we can't carry knives or guns or even spray. Everything is outlawed here, so...
That just killed this beautiful fenix for me. Such a shame.
What I dislike about the sofirn sc32 is that it throws a very wide misty light instead of a nice focus. It has also failed on me and remained stuck two times after one and a half years.
To undo the malfunctioning: take it apart and put together again.

We try to keep a huge array of lights coming in so you can get a feel for as many as possible. I hope we are able to do a review for something soon that you feel helps in this arena. We have a few tactically oriented lights that we have reviewed recently and even more coming up. :)
