I have this Spektrum RC Avian 4250 Brushless Outrunner Motor (800Kv). 900Watts, Spektrum RC Avian Lite 70-Amp Brushless Smart ESC w/IC3 Connector and Spektrum RC 4S Smart G2 LiPo 50C Battery Packs (14.8V/3200mAh) w/IC3 Connector. Do you think it would do well.

Mine is ready to maiden with a motor taken from an FMS Olympus should have plenty of power to rival the potential of the 1.3.
The 10cc fuse fits easily into my compact sedan with the rear seats down. Have high hopes

And the bigger the plane, the bigger the batterie$$$. Once in the 4S and above lipos get pricey. Really dig the alpha completed w a knife edge, the drop was a beauty.
