Cheers Tibor! - The Valiant is such an easy and well behaved craft to fly helps - I was pleased to execute the maiden flight with more than the usual simple standard pattern circuits.
Hello Valiant Owner - Interesting to diff power specs. I love the way the Valiant can fly so smooooth that it can be quite graceful one moment, but hit hi-rates and open the throttle it can become a different beast. But always accurate I find. Keep watching for my Pt2 FVP Aerial Views video to be uploaded shortly.
@Claus@GASP You are correct Claus. It has become my versatile aircraft taking the place of my Crusader. Valiant is better as it is more stable in the wind. My Valiant Pt3 video will feature FVP Flight Control - I just need calmer wind than we have had recently to record the footage - have you viewed my Crusader FPV videos? ruclips.net/video/A2aRcyDLVH0/видео.html&t ruclips.net/video/qwDqllk8i_Y/видео.html
@@davehrcfpv can't wait for your FPV setup, there's plenty of room behind the windshield, consider you're putting up weight, is 6s so important? Anyway that litte guy can do anything.
@Claus - The FPV camera and VTX are from the crashed Crusader. IT is mounted on a cabin hatch that I have fabricated. There is also enough width to fit the GoPro Hero7. I prefer external mounting as the vision is clearer. I realised that 4S would not be adequate for unlimited vertical climb and I have 6S batteries. The motor and ESC were already in my spares bin looking for a suitable aircraft to power.
Thanks for you nice comments Jez, much appreciated. It leaps into the sky with an even steeper climb with full flaps and higher power! Yes, its always good to get a good landing at anytime, but especially so on a maiden flight!
Many thanks for your encouraging comments Kim. Yes, a good choice of power system, looks like the goal of unlimited climb has been achieved, but more of that in later videos of the Valiant
Hey thanks - much appreciated! I have been practicing my landing technique this year with various craft - and the effort seems to be producing the desired results.
You are so right there Adam, yes, it was indeed great feeling. I felt so instantly confident in the craft that I knew I could attempt so many sports manoeuvres on a first flight complete with a good landing. A personal first! For me, this maiden has defined the perfect maiden.
Amazing aircraft. Nice flying Dave! You make it looks so easy :)

Good stuff Dave, I like videos with the clouds that give you a reference. Nice job matey.
I aim to please - thanks for another Comment -
Great mix of scale and sport flying. It fairly leapt into the sky. Superb landing!
