I'd assume that by 1945, the germans would've been desperate enough to recruit anyone with arms and legs, and have them ready as soon as posible. With that said they've managed to gather 6 millions Volkssturm (most of them too young or too old to fight) and they were spread throughout the country, although the majority fought the Red Army. Fun "Fact": In Argentina, during my dad's childhood in the 60's, he went to a catholic school so the place was filled with priests which many of them were his teachers. Some of them fled from Europe, but he only remembers 2 of them; one of them, his math teacher, was a polish in his 50's who spoke perfect spanish; and the other theacher (he doesn't remember what he thaught) was a german in his mid-to-late 30's, who spoke a lot about his early life in "the war" and how he escaped with what remained of his family from Hamburg. My dad didn't know anything else beacuse he's not a history buff like me. So if I had to guess... IF what that guy said was true, he could have been in the Volksturms, since he was still too young to fight. Both teachers had a friendly rivalry, both of them formed their respective soccer teams among the students, and had them play during playtime, and even bet money on which team would win the match.
I really like how the campaign was done for this DLC! Makes me wonder how the game would be like with a morale system, although that would probably be Buggy as hell and not function well lol
Why not place you pack guns in the center of the map all the roads go to the middle of the map and just have the tanks cover the left and right to cover them blind spot
When i was playing this mission i encounter a bug that made enemy solders literally allies after choosing fight to the end ,then 20sec after i got ending cutscene

Haha that morale thing might be bugged indeed lol
To answer your Volksturm question, the Americans did fight a few of them, most prominently in the battle of Aachen.
Ah yeah that's the one I assumed, cheers
I really liked that you could choose the ending for this mission
100% super neat feature
The first Pershing that got knocked out was by a rare tank destroyer call the rhino or nashorn
yeah
take a shot when sherman mentions willy pete
Nah ull die
Why not place you pack guns in the center of the map all the roads go to the middle of the map and just have the tanks cover the left and right to cover them blind spot
I mean we easily won anyway
Like how they crack a joke saying “did the Americans learn how to build a proper tank”
Haha
For once I thought the end speech will be the same from BOB.
