Which one is more durable for long-term use phantom gx 2 adidas f50

I have wide feet and am currently wearing Nike Phantom GT in size 11 US. I previously wore the 2014 Adidas F50 Messi in size 11.5 US. As a rugby player looking for boots with excellent traction on the field and improve my speed, I am considering buying a new pair. Between the new Adidas F50 and the new Nike Mercurial, which one would be better suited for my foot type and needs?
You'll probably be fine with either mate, although the F50 will probably be more durable

I would go for the laced model always mate, although if you have super wide feet you may not fit into either model 🤝

Saturday morning coffee and Noah on the tv. I have a pair of speedflows sitting in a box unused (ag version). How does the upper compare in terms of protection vs the speedflows? i.e. getting stepped on? I have the original f50s and a couple after that as well but since they are not true ag I don’t wear them anymore. Although I guess protection shouldn’t be a factor when looking for speed boots.
I can’t seem to find a better boot than the phantom gt2 ag pro (your fav boot lol) - for both protection and ag safety (adidas sucks for ag like just make a full conical stud patter already)

Are these more durable than the crazy fast plus model? If so how much more? Crazyfast lasted me about 4 months before being too far gone to wear, so just trying to gauge what the timeline could look like

Not a huge difference, just quality of life improvements
They feel really locked in and have a nice feeling on the ball but they gave me a heel blister 😢

Got the new re-emergence f50 laced and have quite bad heel pain. Not rubbing more of a pinch from lack of padding, did you experience this?
And does the laceless model have more internal heel padding? As i love the fit and feel of the fibre touch!
Dang! Sorry to hear that mate - I didn't experience it at all. The laceless model is worse for me in the heel

A bit yeah, but only the way it looks. Doesn't make any difference from a performance perspective.
I have some f50 they are a bit narrower then the other boots but I put a plastic bag and filled it with water and now it fits my foot a lot better

Hey so I know you said the boots feel stiff, but the upper seems to be relatively soft and malleable, and seems to form to the shape of your foot. Is the upper soft around the toe box and rigid everywhere else? Or is the upper rigid/stiff all around the boot?
It's the same all around mate, just a matter of the general shape of the last and the boot

Yep, FG! And no mate, per the video - soleplate feels just fine! Adidas DOES have AG boots actually. They're sold in a lot of places haha just have to look!

Either are great mate! If they BOTH fit you (which is all that actually matters), go with whatever one you like the feel of better. They're two very different playing experiences.

the problem is the boots are stretchy and it looks bad when it stretchs out and not attached to ur feet
Stretchy!? haha I don't know which boots you're talking about but the F50 isn't stretchy at all, in fact the upper is probably one of the LEAST stretchy boots on the market right now

Soleplate is wider flater has more rotational movement good for fg and ag also the textured grip feel nice in wet conditions but u gotta know ur foot shape so u will know if it will fit u or not
