So nice to see someone who does master sets the same way, even down to the way they are sorted in the binder. That’s a way I have never thought of to organize the cards, usually I just put reverse hollow in front of the common cards. Nice collection, keep it up!
I started watching around the time that Chilling Reign was released... I hadn't thought about Pokemon in so long, but was in Walmart & MJ Holdings was stocking the shelves 10 days early... so I decided to buy a handful of blisters. Pulled the gold Snorlax and a few others, which got me hooked immediately.. Fast-forward... I now have master sets built from Darkness Ablaze through Astral Radiance, with only a few rev holos missing from Fusion Strike. I use Vault-X binders, KMC perfect fits and Dragon Shield Clear mattes. I'm just trying to be like you! Keep catching them all!
not to mention that it got my wife and I interested in our childhood cards to complete those master sets. not too far away from finishing Base Set through Neo Genesis

I started with Battle Styles, love the master sets. I can only ever see hand picked cards I buy or some of the others if I buy a booster box, but it’s really nice to able to see them all in one place on display. Beautiful cards and you have a very relaxing voice, love watching these to relax at night while I also appreciate my own collections. 🙏🏻
Would love it if you started listing how many booster boxes/etbs/buildbattle/etc/anything you broke to get the master set and then also the amount of singles bought :) would be fun to see for sets going forward
I second this request. I believe you provided those details on another set. I’m curious how many singles needed to be purchased. I’m in the same situation where I need about 45 cards and I’m leaning towards buying them since my bulk is obscene.
Yeah, I think I did a good job actually counting for Fusion Strike, but not for these last two sets. We opened about 400+ packs for this set and then finished if off with some singles.
I’m on about 260 packs and have loads of the ultra rares left to collect! Just sat and copied your exact master set as I loved the way the cards fell! Thanks mew man
Evolving Skies is the perfect example of a set that has had so many cards removed. I don't mind adding them in when they are promos, but the Alt Art Espeon VMAX is in Fusion Strike, so it would look super out of place in the Evolving Skies binder with a Fusion Strike logo. Same thing goes with Chilling Reign and the Alt Art Celebi and Alt Art Sandaconda V.
would be cool to see a trainer gallery master set once they all come out, I assume in the last two Sword & Sheild sets. if it were me I would keep all of the card types together rather than in number order by set, regular character cards, Vs, Vmaxs, trainers, then all the black and gold cards together.

Yo I started doing that thing with cards that were cut to promos in my master set binder too, however I put them at the end before blister/bnb promos in the order they'd appear if in set so like Virizion V, Jirachi V, Lucario Vstar etc. While Virizion and Jirachi might be box promos, the full art Origin Dialga and Palkia would probably be moved to tins as well with a FA Origin Giritina which would be cut from the next set. For other cards, if they are set numbered I'd keep them in the set (Fusion Strike Espeon/Celebi). While if not I'd put them in the respective set they would have been in. However with the cut eeveelution alts, I'd put the standard V's in Evolving Skies, with the VMAX in Fusion Strike given that the 3 + Espeon lack rainbows in Eevee Heroes and the regular VMAX's weren't in the set, being promos in jp, and the VMAX alts were cut too, sidelined to promos altogether, with the Kanto ones being released after Fusion Arts I believe. Alternate art promos like the new tin eeveelutions I'm not so sure tho

Just curious, why did you put the Game Stop Hisuian Typhlosion in the back of the binder? Wouldn't it technically be considered an exclusive? It has the Astral Radiance Logo, Numbers, and everything. It is not a Black Star Promo?
It is nice that the singles in this set or not as expensive as BRS and EVS, however the amount of rainbow rares and golds make it demotivated to start and not go bankrupt.
I'm three cards from a master set of Celebrations, all from the UPC that I could never get my hands on. It's so annoying that through no fault of my own will I ever be able to complete it.
I'm trying to lay out my binder and leave holes for all the cards I haven't gotten yet. With Lost Origin, there are two variants of all common and uncommon (regular and reverse holo) and then there are three variants of all rares (regular, holo, reverse holo). Is it the same with this set? Or do only some rares have three variants? For example I see you have only two variants of Vespiquen but you have three variants of Keldeo. I heard you mention something about them but wasn't sure what you meant. Appreciate the help, awesome collection!
Hi, I really appreciate this video since I'm also trying to complete the astral radiance masterset (you earned yourself a new follower). However it's been a couple of months since the release of this video. Now for example we have the virizion v promo as you predicted lol, good on ya. We also have the palkia and dialga full art promos, yet no jirachi v promo. Now to get to my questions. Do you think pokemon will release a jirachi v promo or a darkrai full art promo? Also there are now promos such as palkia (swsh 254) and dialga vstar (swsh 256), hisuian typhlosion v (swsh 237), hisuian decidueye v (swsh 238) and hisuian samurott v (swsh 239), would you include these in the masterset binder too? And if so where do you put cards such as the virizion v and jirachi v promos that doesn't have any nonholos or reverse holo cards in the regular set? And for the last question, do you know if there are any championship or staff cards belonging to this set, such as the boss's order cards in brilliant stars? I love your content I have been following my binders the same way of having regualr then Reverse Hollow seperate. Bu tI was curious why not put the Pre-Release 4 promo cards next to the main ones. I also did this with th eGamestop exlusive. Also the 2 Fusion Strike and the Sylveon at the end. I know where the Evee came from but was curious.. I may end oup moving my promos at the end like you.
Thank you for watching! You can get both of those non holos in the Astral Build & Battle Kits. Although the cards in the actual kit are random so you may not get them both if you bought one.
We had it complete around launch date so not very long to complete. We probably opened around 400 packs and with a lot of luck, only had to buy a few singles.

Hmmm, the best thing to do is try doing a price comparison to what TCG Player lists each card for. I had a formula that let you do that in seconds that I'll see if I can find. Then you can easily price out any full set in seconds.

Yep, I trust all my cards in these binders. I like the side loading pockets and that the whole binder zips up. They are made a lot better than the normal three ring ones I used back when I started collecting around the original Base Set. Lol
I'm still undecided. I feel it works pretty well for this set, but not Evolving Skies since the Espeon VMAX Alt Art is in Fusion Strike and not a Promo.
I think I started watching during Vivid Voltage set. But, I found inspiration from you when we started collecting Chilling Reign. We have near complete sets of Vivid through Astral Radiance (battle styles excluded). At the same time, we are not even close to completing them. I know how much money and work goes into this. Especially the last 4 or 5 expansions released. I really appreciate the content. You 2 are amazing. I am curious, now that you included promos, are you also acquiring additional cards for the promo binder? Personally, I like seeing the missing cards in the set. It feels more complete.

As of November 2022, Virizion regular v has been released as a promo but still no luck to Jirachi.
Would love to see an updated Evolving Skies binder. Curious if you added the cut Jolteon/Vaporeon/Flareon V's, and VMax's.

Yep, we should be getting Trainer Galleries in the last two sets this year. Hopefully that will cover all the missing cards.

Love it. Really wish they stop taking cards out of the sets. In all honesty, most of the premium collections are ok, but not great.

How do I figure out what cards have holos I know all bulk cards get reverses but idk about holos

Yep, we pulled most of them, and both the remaining few we needed to complete the set.

Not sure if we will get a second promo for the Promo Binder. We've done that for the special sets in the past like Celebrations though.
