Having visited China on numerous occasions, and having witnessed an explosion in culinary creativity over the years, it felt like time to finally try out a Michelin restaurant. People often say you can’t have spice with fine ingredients and wine at the same time , but I disagree. I do prefer Sichuanese food over other regional variations of Chinese food but I do hope to repeat this experiment in other parts of China.
If mutton has a million fans, then I am one of them. If mutton has ten fans, then I am one of them. If mutton has only one fan then that is me. If mutton has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against mutton , then I am against the world.
I like your style, the editing is so bad it's good, I like the over eye contact when eating 😂 strangely watchable, can see why you got big sub numbers. Good content 👌
Yes indeed , bought a dji mic 2 while out there and from time to time my mic went quiet and the other mic picked up all the chomping away in the background
do apologise for that I hope that the next two are ok from china , having spent thousands of £ on finding the right individual mic, looks like the same process again for twin mics. As it happens the second half of the video is actually much better in terms of sound
Have just been to the dji shop on my current trip to sort out the twin mics , which as you and a shedload of other viewers have mentioned, enhanced the chomping and de amplified my voice
Well I first met him in 1994 and his English has improved sharply ever since , to the point where many Chinese attendees at international conferences that he attends seek him for help or translation
I apologise for that , I bought a new mic while out there and at times the twin mics cancelled my speech and focused on the eating noises. I am going back to China in the summer and will ask the DJI people to explain if or how I mis set the settings .I’ve literally spent thousands of £s on Microphones and while I’ve found the correct mic set for individual use I’m still struggling to find a pair that works together . Even spending £350 on a pair of mics hasn’t solved the problems.
@@primemutton no problem at all, actually I apologise its just I have some kind of complex where noisy eating annoys me. But hey good review and hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!
It was something to do with the microphone set up. I won’t find out till I visit China in June as I bought the mics from DJi. I really don’t understand why for some clips you can hear me clearly and for others the chomping. I had to whack up the volume of those clips to maximum in the editing software where you can hear the chomping , otherwise you wouldn’t hear me speaking at all and to be honest I’d have lost the vlog. I am aware of the issue and I will ask DJI (not so easy to deal with them in the UK or Europe tbh) The sad thing is that I spent thousands of £ on my mics to get myself one that works solo , and I might have to do the same again until I find a twin set that works. These cost about £350 , the previous twin set £250 from sarmonic , it may well be that I am being a cheapskate and will need a professional pair that costs about £1000 . I’ll keep you in the loop about future microphone purchases
Not impressed with Mr Fu smoking at the table, very off-putting, and dare I say disrespectful to the restaurant and other diners who may or may not smoke.
I don’t smoke and don’t like it either but in China it’s hard to stop people . At least the table was enormous and I didn’t catch any smoke wafting over.
@primemutton I thought smoking in China was banned in restaurants? If they can't be bothered to enforce the rule then I suppose selfish smokers will continue.
Is it the audio? I used the same mics for all 3 videos in China , I don’t know yet whether I’ll have the same problem. Or is it the type of content here not being interesting. I hope to get the next one out next week , but if you’re waiting for the next football video , it’ll be Tottenham away in a fortnight
@@primemutton just the eating noises, it's like nails scratching a chalk board for me! Nothing against the content, I've watched all of your vids and enjoyed them. Just an unfortunate mic situation by the sound of things.
@@benrichardson8417 yes I bought a new dual mic system there ,I’ll have to get it checked out at the DJI store there. Having spent thousands pf £ on mics for individual use until I found the right one , I hope I don’t end up having to do the same with dual mics. Unfortunately it was impossible to edit them out, but I’m going to China again in mid June and I’ll try and sort it out or if I can’t painstakingly get him to switch his on and off when he’s not speaking (they’re supposed to focus on the person speaking and reduce surrounding noises)
@@primemutton hopefully it's a simple as playing around with the settings rather than you have to spend any more cash! Sure the majority of your fans don't mind anyway! Keep up the good work.

Great to hear Mr Foo chomping away

agreed
Thank you 🙏
Mr fu is kinda going cunilingus on the damn chili
Sounds like there's something sus going on in the background while you're eating 😂
LOL

thanks , I do it all myself. at the end of the day it is a personal vlog rather than any sort of professional tv style programme
editing isn't really that bad
Great video Mutton. 33 mins of joy. Mr Fu's food enjoyment was great to hear - couldn't stop smiling! More please
Very interesting. Dont knock China till u go there. Mr Fu one of the boyz.
New to this channel mate , absolutely love your content/reviews ,hope city win the the premiership from a villa fan
Thank you 🙏, more content from China on the way plus last 2pr 3 games of City’s season.
Mr Foo's microphone appears to be working very well 🤣
Yes I need to address the sounds of the chomping on my forthcoming trip to China , hope you enjoyed the video nonetheless
What a nice cannel! Thanks for the film....
Thank you 🙏 so glad you like it
Sounds like Mr Foo is enjoying his food... 😂

@@primemutton i did
Great video again mutton ! Always a good day when I see an upload from you x
Thank you , filming vlogs in China always highly enjoyable. Not everyone’s choice of destination but so culinary and culturally rich and diversified.
its a top tier video, but MR FU brings it to the pinnacle. Above top tier.
Great to see Mr Foo again!
A fabulous review in every way.
Very good, the food looks great I’m now tempted to buy a Chinese takeaway.
Had to turn that video off half way through due to the background noise of Mr Foo demolishing the food. Look forward to the next one 😊

Dude enjoying his food.
Great video. I would love to go to China.
Also, I think there are people out there who would pay good money for an ASMR experience like that!
this guy is living his life
Very short video - 33 minutes long 😅 Cant wait to watch Sir.
Love it mate but need to seperate the audio, your friend is munching too loud.

looks incredible
That ice cream looked like an absolute creamer.
Very impresive!
Mr Foo and Mr Funky
Mutton ASMR😂😂😂
absolute smashing form mutton!!!
Mr Fun English has improved since lat time you visited it seems
Well I first met him in 1994 and his English has improved sharply ever since , to the point where many Chinese attendees at international conferences that he attends seek him for help or translation
Ni hao!
The noisy eating sounds in the background are doing my head in!!!🤔

Mutton I love you but I think something went astray in the sound editing. I was hearing you speak in one ear and chewing in the other !!
As enjoyable as it was to see mutton review his meal, it does seem Mr Fu is rather a loud eater

@@karlos55555 I am not sure. If it is , it’s routinely flouted. I think I’ve been to the odd restaurant where people weren’t smoking
I would look up chinese gutter oil before eating in china.
Sorry Mutton, this one is un-watchable, look forward to the next vid
