When a tower finishes and pushed forward a bunch of bonus coins then dump. I wait until those are done before using my coins because using them together is kind of a waste. The bonus coins help a lot because of the quantity. I then try to hit the yellow to get more bonus coins to push the tower.
This game can be really good, depending on how it looks when you start to play. Sometimes you walk into a birthday present and sometimes you lay the groundwork for someone else. Still a lot of fun.
