Well, maby many of you will not agree with me, but I think this cover is wonderful. Obviously it is not as powerful as the original version, but the orchestration sounds very good.
Blaze kept the band going in the 90's, and even though I'm a big fan of him, I don't think it would lasted so long if Bruce never came back. But the effort he did, he tried his best even though he was young and came in after Dickinson.
I have never heard ov a Cradle of Filth cover ov "Fear of the Dark". I believe you are mistaking it for the Graveworm cover. Look into it. Thanks to things like Limewire people have mislabeled that cover as Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, or even Kalmah. I fell into the trap back when I used to use Limewire back in the day. The track was actually released on Graveworm's 2001 album, "Scourge of Malice". Great band, support them.

i disagree, i no what ur sayin but when u hear the old maiden its no where near as good as dickinson. the second dikinson came in, i was a revolution, he started so much for that band. and honestly can u see blaze rockin it doday
