You probably collect =bins= of leftover yarn. (Wish I lived closer to you, I'd take them all off your hands!) Maybe you can collect the bits (no matter how small) for someone in your area who crochets/knits for charity? I crochet for a local pregnancy center and have become a happy magnet for any leftover yarn bits in my area. (folks tell folks tells folks and I end up with yarn :-)
I thoroughly enjoy your videos and have this project on my to-do list.

Can this be done with double crochet.....dont know if you will get this text since this tutorial was done 1 year ago

I designed this for single crochet, to get a tighter look and feel to the cushion. If you do double crochet, the look and feel is going to be very different, you will also have to adapt the stitch count and the corners to get the pattern to work. All in all a totally different design :)
