    This is just fantastic and innovative. I'm going to build one similar to yours for using in my wife's Pilot. Thanks for sharing and for the superb overview! I mocked a similar version up with some cardboard boxes but put a Brita tank above the sink for a running faucet setup.

    With this sink I personally don’t need the cabinet, the sink is sufficient on its own and for me I can save the space . Keep the ideas coming, and thank u

    You don't really need handles on the doors. Two finger holes will work. Then you could maybe hook something between the holes for a lock.

  • @ladytrader688
    @ladytrader688 7 месяцев назад

    Ok, ya, I’m gonna have to do this. In these tiny siennas any time I can eliminate a piece to save space that’s what I gotta do. When I saw this months ago I thought… naaa, but now I found a place this will work. Thanking you! 🙏

    You could just cut finger holes in the cupboards for handles. Nothing to stick out. campgrounds and such have special places to dump gray water in each camp spot, generally.

      Thanks! I started to move away from the handles. Using a small piece of rope in my new cabinets. I agree, handles suck in small places.

    Nah.... don't change your name as people won't recognize you then & it may mess up your acct. with RUclips. Besides, "In the Elements" can also apply to being outdoors in the elements, not just the Honda Element you had. Anyway, I like that sink idea..... you always come up with something good to follow. As you probably know, gray water can smell in the heat so those who drain it out under their vans often have a problem with foul odors from that. This way you can carry the gray water away from your vehicle, so that's a plus. I like that idea!

    I really like this idea, but am worried that it is not very deep and any splashing will make a mess. I assume it would work well for brushing teeth, but probably not for washing dishes. Does that sound about right?

    • @Tiny-Campers
      @Tiny-Campers  3 года назад

      You are correct. Not great for washing dishes. I have washed dishes in them before. It can be done but you have to be really easy on the water.

      You can make a deeper basin with the same oil drain. Have it sit deeper and build some side walls with water sealed wood.
