His native language is Kazakh and Russian. He is learning English and Mandarin. He can sing in 10+ languages and can play 6+ instruments. He has been on stage since 5 years old. Both his parents are singers. All his songs are memorable. But a few that stand out are: SINFUL PASSION and LOVE OF TIRED SWANS in Russian. Thank you, Robk, for your appreciative reaction. Dimash Kudaibergen is from Kazakhstan, a large Central-Asian country. He sang the song in its original French language. There is no such language as Indian. Dimash's native language is Kazakh, so he had committed the French lyrics to his memory; he doesn't speak French. This is what Dimash sang in the Chinese Hunan Television (a provincial tv organisation) annual competition "Singer 2017". He was the youngest competitor (22 years), the only non-Chinese, and he had to open the entire show with his performance. So, you can guess he might have felt a bit of stress. But how brilliantly did he do it!

He now has 10 million zealous followers worldwide and when he gave a recent concert in the UK it was SRO. And he performed 30 songs in 2 and one Half hours with a Cold and Sore Throat! Not only the best pop singer in the world , he is a great humanitarian. He give all his profits from the concert to the Russian Music Hall to inspire and nurture musicians just starting out.

He was classically trained since he was 5 years old. He sings Neoclassical as well as contemporary music. He was 22 years old when he competed in The Singer 2017 where he sang SOS. He is now 24 years old. Please continue on to your journey to Dimash world of music.
His music teachers said that when he was young
he sang soprano and then when he got older he never lost the ability to sing soprano. So, its not falsetto he actually sings soprano.
It's still falsetto, and some is mixed.
@@michaelburkey1968 OK, please provide details of the imaging technology you have used to prove that Dimash's vocal chords are not connected when he sings in the higher registers. Until then, I'm gonna go with soprano based on the sound, not falsetto. (Well, actually, he sings both depending on what sound quality he wants to obtain.)
@@robbinburns6329 soprano describes a vocal range. It has nothing to do with whether or not he is using falsetto. He is not a soprano. He is a baritone naturally. He can stretch his head voice to at least Bflat5 as in Sinful Passion. But he uses falsetto all the time. You can tell by the sound. The first "d'en haut" that sounds like a female opera singer is falsetto. At the end he pulls chest up in his head voice to F#5 then he clearly flips. We can get into a crazy semantic argument about what falsetto is but it's pointless. Saying he uses falsetto is not some kind of insult.
@@robbinburns6329 lol. Soprano has nothing do to with falsetto or head voice. Soprano, aside from alto, is just the highest female step in choir and classical singing. Whether you're soprano or not, you still use all your modes.
@@isivaasanaru5643 Yes, but no. Soprano has been used that way (as a categorizer) but it has led to countless "why can't a man be a soprano?" arguments. What if someone can sing low and high, what are they? There are definitely male sopranos who sing with connected vocal chords, not falsetto, whereas most male singers are using falsetto in the high range. Singing "soprano" versus "falsetto" is about the chord closure, not some meaningless classification system. You don't understand this but you lol?

Looks like I came in late and you probably know a lot by now EXCEPT nobody explained the show Singer to you....
This show is NOT the normal talent contest. All participants are successful professional singers Invited by the show to dare take up this challenge. One of the rules is that they can sing their own song only once during the entire competition. All other songs has to be some else's song but they may modify the song if they wish.
Those individuals you see at the end with comments such as WOW Amazing etc are the participants who are all well known in Asia...except Dimash. He is a one off case, not too famous but the show invited him and boy are we glad he took the challenge. I have been following him since day 1 of singer show, his ability to change a song as and when he wish, seeing his improvements along the way is a pleasura. Glad you found him, Glad I found you too. The one thing I did not see in the comments is the he was offered a position with the 5th largest opera house in the world and he declined their offer. He said he wanted to have fun with his voice and music and wanted to bring people together with his music by putting different types of music together that most people don't think about putting together. He has a famous opera singing mother, a famous pop singing, music producing and Dimash's manager for a father. His grandmother can sing as well as his little sister and his grandfather plays instruments. He mixes all kinds of music together and I think it is great. You just don't know what to expect from him song to song. Opera, popera, rap, r&b, pop, folk, traditional. You can pretty much throw anything in the mix with him. Well, I haven't heard country yet. He has been training and is still training his voice since he was 5 and will be 25 in May of 2019. I have to put the year because you never know when this might be read. He is strong willed in his passion for music. He said if you cut open his brain or heart you will see music. He appears to be a kind and humble man and I just hope this doesn't change him. You know like Keanu Reeves still takes the subway or stops to help a stranded motorist. That kind of decency. I wish Dimash to keep that part of himself. I hate the prima donna attitude that hits when someone starts to think hey I am famous. Right now he still is that humble young man, my hope for him is that he can stay that way. I think it would make him a much happier person over all. I absolutely love his performances. He is a star shining brightly all over the world except for the US in which he is just now making his debut. But most Americans don't appreciate culture such as opera the way Europe and Asia do. In any case he is famous already in most of the world.

Love your reactions. Yess Dimash is the best. The more you listen the more you get addicted. I listen to Dimash since the singer and he is unique and one of a kind. I like his voice which is full and touches you in the soul. Some one said before that Dimash is like painter because with his voice he can sing every colour and he was right.
