Thank you Nadia for sharing a C-section story! This is so important to show ALL types of birth. There is a lot of misinformation on sections. Breastfeeding is hard for some people and easy for others, you do what is best for YOU the baby and your family. Formula fed baby here, no dramas 😅 and I’m 41. Everybody’s journey is so different and unique. My advice is only ever take the 12 weeks to get to know each other, settle into the new normal, heal and enjoy the journey - the highs, lows, it all.
Congratulations!! I've been watching your videos for years and its so nice to see you glowing and genuinely looking so happy!! As a future doctor (also so interested in obstetrics!) your comments about the negative side of your hospital experience are so sad but, something i'll remember when I start working in labour wards!! Thank you for sharing your experience, and even the negative side, its something that will def stick with me and i'll personally try to be better!
Credit to you Nadia for filming a video with a newborn. Thanks for sharing your story with your followers. You are looking fantastic! Baby Monty is adorable! Xx
Praise the Lord for this beautiful healthy baby and his parents ❤ Monty is adorable 🥰 you all look so happy!! I have been thinking and praying for you Nadia!! What a wonderful way to start the week, see you and this vlog !! Thank you for sharing this blessing with us!! You have the most beautiful glow to your face!! Rest rest rest !! These days go so fast!! I’m praying for you to have rest and energy to keep up with this new path on your journey!! Congratulations!! Can’t wait to see more of you and your beautiful family ❤
Congratulations to the three of you! He’s so precious! Thank you for this great and open video. Also well done for getting prepped and finding the time and energy to film it!! Go you! This felt like conversations we’ve had with our friends after our son was born a few months ago. I was also super scared of the epidural, but ended up going with it as things did not go as smoothly as hoped and can relate to that fear and also the feeling of being besotted with your partner and your child right after birth. Best to all of you and welcome to the parent club rollercoaster! Xxx
Congratulations Nadia and Johnny on the birth of your beautiful little boy💙🤍. Can I just say also how lovely Johnny is, and I don’t just mean looking! He’s come across as a very chilled, easygoing young man. You are both well matched. Lovely little family. Im going to finish watching this later as I’m in the dentist just now 😂. X x
Awww, had to stop the video to say that he is so, so beautiful😍. Brings back many memories for me from 25 years ago. Make sure to enjoy this time, it passes by so quickly. All three so cute together.
You go girl ❤your mission as a mum is to keep baby fed !! So if you feel like breastfeeding or NOT it’s ok 👍 just feed him and he will thrive !! And so will you !! I’m so proud of you ❤
Congrats to you both, Monty is absolutely beautiful. I didn’t breastfeed my two children and they were both super healthy children, my son had his first course of antibiotics when he was four years old, our GP at the time said that’s quite old so his immune system was really good. Co drydramol is the usual post natal pain killer. These first days are so special just drink your baby in, plenty of sleep and snuggles and if you feel emotional Nadia let it out and keep talking, the baby blues can hit hard xxxx
My mum couldn’t breastfeed either my brother or I. We’re pretty ok 😅 The whole breastfeeding v bottle / formula feeding is a nasty argument that really needs to stop. A fed baby, a happy baby and mum is by far the most important thing. Mothers need support on their choices not loud, viscous (or sometimes “nice but judgy”) comments. I ddid both with my girls, and even mix feeding or exclusive breastfeeding feeding for a shorter period of time got me judged. Can’t do right in this topic 😝
Giving birth is like a huge rollercoaster of emotions but also like a marathon for the body. Each woman has her own story and there is no precise instruction to go through this Life changing experience. I am a mom of two beautiful grownup girls and now a proud grandma of 3 amazing kids. The only thing that is important is managing your own experience the best way you can, surf the wave with your new family of 3 and mostly, remain healthy to enjoy this great moment in Life. Bad memories, if some, will fast go away and the love, joy, proudness and happiness will take over everything else! Be confident and be proud of yourself and I wish you all the best with your new little Treasure. Love from a canadian mom!😘
So so so happy for you and Johnny! Monty is gorgeous! Savour every bit of the newborn phase, I know I miss it and regret not enjoying it when ours was a newborn as we were always so anxious and nervous. Now he’s 9 months and it just gets harder 😂 but it’s the best. You look amazing as always and well done mama! You should be very proud of yourself. Hope you get lots of rest to heal and enjoy your newborn bubble. Always been a silent viewer but have been following you here for a while and it’s so amazing to see you and Johnny as mum & dad. Suits you both a lot! You’re both doing so well and it’s heartwarming to see. Sending lots of love to you and your family 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Many congratulations to you both on the birth of your beautiful son Monty. I am absolutely delighted for you all after following you for such a long time. Enjoy every special moment with baby son. Love and hugs x
Congratulations to you both on the birth of your gorgeous baby boy Monty, he is so adorable and it is so lovely to have followed your journey to this magical beginning of your little family👶🏼🩵Enjoy very magical moment, this is what dreams are made of🥺💫xx
❤❤❤ you are all absolutely darling! Whatever you and Johnny decide to do to care for your family should be supported. Get the nanny when you decide it would be helpful. ❤❤❤
Congratulations! I loved this, it was so real. My husband and I had a difficult first birth experience, so I could totally relate. Glad you're ok and thriving. Well done ❤🥰
Congratulations on your new baby boy 🤍 your family is beautiful! I am with you on the BF thing, I feel the same way about it and so did my mom. I was exclusively formula fed myself and I was apparently the happiest baby. Never fussy, slept great, never got sick (also was in daycare since 6 weeks old) so formula is also my plan for my future baby (due in June). You just keep doing you xx you’re doing amazing. congrats again!
I was so excited when I saw you had uploaded!! Welcome baby Monty, he is SO beautiful Nadia. Congratulations guys. So bothered by the story about you bleeding & Johnny having to change your pad. Just so disheartening to hear. Not nice for first time parents. We didn’t know what had hit us the first six weeks 😂😂 , then it settled. It’s just beautiful but exhausting 😍. I didn’t breastfeed my boys either. Doesn’t matter how they are fed, people get so obsessed with the boob that it can take the joy away. Each to their own. Nobody’s business except yours. Enjoy the baby bubble guys. So lovely to see you as a family unit. Sending love. X
Huge Congratulations 🎉, love baby boys name. Monty is gorgeous, so happy for your beautiful little family. This was a lovely video Nadia, really nice hearing you both talk through the birth experience xx
Congratulations to you both, he’s lovely 🥰 I have a 10w old and 2 year old. Agree the communication between midwife’s and departments is poor and how long you have to wait for information/pain relief. It will serve you well 2nd time round as you’re much more direct about what you need and know to ask early ❤
Congratulations to you both, Monty is so adorable and your joy is just radiating, enjoy your gorgeous boy ❤ I was the same I had the one midwife 😏 and had an epidural with both of mine, my respect and admiration goes to those mamas who done this without it honestly the pain is something else xx
Congratulations! ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing the birth story. I actually had a very similar experience! I just ended up having to get an episiotomy and vacuum assisted delivery. Back labor was absolutely brutal, just excruciating pain on my back the entire time, couldn’t have survived without the pain meds. Definitely hire a night nurse and take care of yourself mama!!! ❤
Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy! 🩵He is perfection,🥰 he is such a calm baby. Your birth story relates a lot to mine. I got induced on a Monday evening and ended up having a c-section. At that point I just wanted the baby out and safe and he arrived on Thursday 8/3/23.❤ We were able to go home on a Saturday afternoon. It was a long week. Every baby a different and it's nice people share there experiences but we are all different and some babies are calm and some are not but they are our babies and no matter how difficult times get whether it be babies being colic or teething you will know what is best for your beautiful baby. Go with your instint. 😊Sending lots of love to your beautiful family. ❤
Congratulations 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉 On your precious baby boy many congrats followed you and your partner for years. So great to see you start a family 💙 💓 💕 💗 💖 💛 💙 💓
I am so so happy for you guys I can’t stop smiling. You deserve to be so happy. But hearing some of how the nurses/ midwives were is so frustrating even thought you were still so happy with the experience it’s still so shit that some people do a job they shouldn’t do. But anyway so so happy for all of you and hope you and baby boy are doing well 😘
Many Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful, HEALTHY, new born Son.. Monty. If you feel you want any help and can afford it. Then you take it. Stuff what anybody else thinks or feels. I didn't have young parents living round the corner.
Ah well done nadia..congratulations! He's gorgeous.. so happy for u guys.. love his name..sooo cool! Btw my 1st born is joseph..we call him joey.. he was also late😂..the boys like being cosy
Congratulations may you enjoy motherhood/fatherhood. Happy for you and your family. Yes giving birth to 3 children without the epidural. But to be fair they first was born within 6 hours of having contractions, the second within 2 hours and the birth third was so sudden within 30 minutes my daughter was born but the pain was more intense than the other 2.
Congratulations! Can’t believe how similar our birth stories are apart from mine ended up with forceps! He’s gorgeous! Can you please link your jewellery x
Congratulations! Lack of communication and patronising behaviour sounds exactly like what’s been described in the “Giving Birth like a Feminist” book. Highly recommended read ❤
Congratulations beautiful big boy I must say you if you don't wait to have another it means you will probably have to have c-section again but at least it would be planned. I did not breast feed because my body was in shock from the c- section and my milk never came in.
omggg i saw the thumbnail and screamed! congratulations nadia and jonny the best news! monty is the cutest little button! xx
