I love your Cast Iron Collection! We have several pieces of Lodge. Also two Dutch Ovens from Lodge. we love their Products. we love your Videos! You are the Best!
👍🏼 Was raised on cast iron pot some pans, coming from a Puerto Rican family that’s all my grandmother had. I used to work for Dick’s Sporting Goods so when people would come in camping we had some cast-iron stuff for camping so I would give them a quick lesson on how to season a cast iron pan
My most treasured piece is a #14 Griswold found at a garage sale for 3.00, the lady said it’s so rusty, and she said her mom bought it and never used it. But have 130 pieces none are new all old found in the wild. I’m not a collector….just admire them.
Awesome! I found most of my cast iron skillets at a local flea market, and some good stuff, too. I have a few Griswald pans, a Wagner, a few BSR and even a Lodge or two. When I can’t (or don’t want to go outside) cook on my Blackstone I bust out the cast iron!
I love cast iron. We have a Lodge 10” skillet we bought with a gift certificate we got as a wedding gift 25 years ago this year. It has been used, abused and re-seasoned several times. Disappointed I missed out on the Blackstone cast iron but at the time I wasn’t a “blackstoner”. Thanks for the video. (I am half the DE couple at your Mechanicsburg Griddle More Tour who is originally from CO)
Lots of good ideas here! If anyone wants great deals on Lodge products plan a trip to the factory for Lodgetoberfest. We went last year for the first time and have been working on a shopping list for a 2022 trip.
That is a very large collection in my book Todd! I have the pit boss cast iron set, one of the lodge 15 ounce melting pot I believe and I 10 inch skillet with a leather holder from bespoke post. One question I have on cast iron cookware would be the kind of oil to use when storing. I noticed that if I use olive oil or the kinds of oils that I have used on my Blackstone, the cast iron skillets tend to get a little sticky? I really haven’t researched this at all but since you had This video I figured I would pick your brain about it.
Todd, I like your Bedford, Pa T-shirt. It's about 15 miles from my house near Hollidaysburg. I had about 35 skillets and dutch oven that we lost in the house fire. I really do miss them because I used them more than any other plans or skillets. I really like your hot pad handle covers you have on a couple of skillets. Great collection that you have!
Hi, Robert. I missed you in PA this year. One of my subscribers from Bedford brought the shirt when they visited me in Chambersburg. I hope you are doing well!!
Hey Todd I have some of the cast iron pieces Some are from the fajita set and got some off of internet from Bargain Junkie. Use them a lot and really like them.
Thanks for all the great cooking ideas and the videos! Watching this one, I wasn’t clear on the enamel Dutch oven you have. Did you use that on the griddle top? Or was there a side burner you used it on. Thanks!!!
Hi, Josh...in the spaghetti (pomodoro) sauce I referenced, it was on a Range Top Combo side burner BUT I routinely use the cast iron pans/skillets on the griddle top ONLY. Take a look through my library and you'll see plenty of places where I use them like that, pretty much exclusively. I hope that helps. Please also follow me on Facebook, you'll see plenty of (including just this past weekend) instances where I'm using a cast iron dutch oven or skillet on my griddle top. Plenty more videos to come too! Here are a few: ruclips.net/video/-7elMjuzvvg/видео.html ruclips.net/video/OoXORh841ZY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/XBewlE61FAw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/7-CaBlTEwkk/видео.html Here's the video you referenced: ruclips.net/video/XbpaPajaRJk/видео.html That's just a few off the top of my head. Hey Todd! Thank you very much for all the info!! Just upgraded my black stone to a 22” adventure model and getting to take out camping. Your videos have been very helpful!! Have a great day!
Great collection of some unique cast irons. Love my cast irons! I never knew that Blackstone had a cast iron line. I'll have to check to see if some are still available on the auction sites. Thanks for sharing your collection and giving a quick rundown of what each piece is and is used for!
Blackstone cast-iron made in china? I've heard don't buy something cast in china, quality control is not good because the cast material contains harmful materials to your health. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Keep the videos coming to Pittsburgh Pa. I learn a lot from them. God bless 🙏 and pass the food!
Blackstone never made cast iron griddles. Are you talking about the platters I showed in the video? No, they were discontinued long ago just like I said in the video. God bless you.

Nice collection! I like the platters.
Love the square pan, I worked in England and the place we rented had a full set of cast iron frying pans and square pans. They worked so great!

Love your cast iron collection. I love mine, too. Use them on the Blackstone so I don't had to clean my Blackstone 😄

Greet! its good look!
Thank you!
I'm assuming there's no type of reseasoning the enameled Dutch oven. Right?
We only have one cast iron pan although I have been trying to find some Blackstone cast iron. Like your deck upgrade.
Hi Dave. I appreciate you watching. I still have lots to do. Hopefully I can get to work on it this week. Have a great rest of your week!
@@praisehisawesomename Thanks, you too Todd. Hopefully with tour over you can find time to relax and do some fishing.
Which one do you think is the most versatile or which one do you use the most on the griddle?

You should team up with Kent Rollins (RUclips)
Kent is a pretty cool cowboy. In a previous chapter of my life, I worked as a cowboy guide for over a decade.
@@praisehisawesomename I think it would be awesome. You two have a lot of the same family values and morals. It's two peas in a pod
