Nice selection you have there. The Lodge "Trivet" you paid 85 cents for is mainly used inside a dutch oven to keep the meat and veg elevated and out of the water and off the bottom of the pot. If I don't use it I don't collect it.

So your number 10 is a small logo Griswold made in 1940 your large logo Griswold was made around the 1930s and are pretty popular and highway collectible in the cast iron community

I own five lodges five Wagner wears three griswolds one Southern mysteries skillet and one BSR and one wooden handle two quart saucepan made in Taiwan
Do you think your non perfect seasoning is evident of a screw up at all while cooking? I feel like I get exactly the same markings whenever I slightly burn something or if I use too much seasoning it will be hard to get off
Most of us could survive with 1 #8 skillet. The small block Gridwold is 1939-1957.
Have you tried carbon steel skillets? Also, are you using these on gas?
I haven’t tried carbon steel as of yet. My stove electric but I also have an induction cooktop that I use sometimes.
@@phototristan give it a shot, maybe start with matfer bourgea; very cheap, perform like cast iron but take much more abuse (won’t crack).
Do you have a problem with induction and cast iron? I’m on gas, will be remodeling in the future and considering a combination of induction and gas (wolf has modules you can combine). Thanks again
