Angshu Dutta if talking about mass spec, only number of the electrons change.. if you want an anion then you will have to change the number of protons what in this case doesn't happen.
This is not an exact explanation for quadrupole analyzer. Along with the Radiofrequency(AC), DC voltage is also applied to the rods. They act simultaneously. The potential generated on a rod is (U+V cos wt). Where U is DC and V is alternating current. And what about this bombarding? Fragmentation only occurs using a CAD or EAD.Quadrupole analyzer also having some limitations because of which Linear ion trap or an orbitrap analyser is introduced.. Kindly mention from where you have got those information. This explanation should be more specific. There
Sir, In the 1st video of Mass spec, u told that only +vely charged molecular ions produced. U didn't mentioned anything about the -vely charged mol ions. How these -vely charged molecular ions produced ?
It is Quadrupole, as there are four poles. You have repeatedly said 'quadruple' which is totally a wrong word. Quadruple means four times. You should be very much careful when you teach mass spectrometry. All the best! Professor Purushottam Chakraborty
Your way of teaching is the best sir thanks again 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
+Anil Kumar thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
Nice presentation bro depth information with good&neat explanation tq soooooo much bro
great me , really appreciable , may Allah reward you
Sir please upload more vidoes like on Mass detectors etc and Your way of teaching is simply Awesome
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures. Please subscribe and share
Shomu's Biology please do more videos sir
This is super-cool video! Very clear and interesting. I finally got it. Thanks a lot.
You must have drawn the nice picture. But it was really usefull and i am appreciated.
your way of teaching is very nice and intresting sir thaks alord
+Shakti Banna thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
Perfect explanation thank you
You're welcome
Am curious though... why the need for positive and negative poles when after ionising, the molecules are mainly positively charged?
Perfect explanation!
Thank you
Sir why we need to separate based on the charge if they are all positive after ionization?
Really very helpful before operate a LCMC.Actually im handling this instrument but now im getting lot of concept. Thanks sir
16:14:12:1 wht that compound is ? only the ratio is given. Your answer will be appreciated
Bestest teacher ever!
+Jannat Malik thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
How are the anions produced ? ( You have said in your previous videos that only cations are produced ?
Angshu Dutta if talking about mass spec, only number of the electrons change.. if you want an anion then you will have to change the number of protons what in this case doesn't happen.
The anions are not accelerated into the mass analyzer... Those statements of his are very deceptive.
thanks but ions if touch the wall will destroyed
thank you sir very wonderfull explanation
Please make videos on interpretation of alakene, alkynes and cycloalkane and other compounds sir
Nice explanation
Very good explanation!
Thanks a lot, Very clear explanation.
Thanks...you made it simple
You're welcome
Very good
First lacture's confusion(F=ma) cleard in this season .
Thank you sir# it's rly helpful for me# thanx a lot
