    As far as I know, the Seamaster takes a crystal with a tension ring. Gluing one in with epoxy is just wrong.

      Thank you for your comment and yes, you are right. We had to use an after market crystal which was not supporting tension ring.
      Tension ring is kept until a proper crystal is found for the watch.

      Hi, thank you very much for kind words. Yellow solution is called mercury lotion in Pakistan and it is easily available here. It helps cleaning any dried up oils and dirt which might be on the movement parts.

    I cringe whenever someone who has popped the hands off of their central hub lifts them up directly from the dial afterwards. This is almost guaranteed to cause scratches and defeats the rationale for covering the dial with a plastic sheet in the 1st place to protect it.
