My favorite moment when the Prince throws himself out of the window jajajaja, and the King, very worried about his son has lost his mind, is told by someone who is running and screaming through the castle without pants XXXDD
This is definitely one of the best Disney direct to DVD sequels ever. I love all the stuff Tremaine does with the wand, how much Cinderella actually does, and how action packed it gets toward the end.
Exactly, that's what I loved as a child about the sequel, all that action and feeling of suspense; and see Cinderella braver and determined to fight for her "happily ever after", truly the Prince and her were destined to be together; and the Evil stepmother scared me more with the wand because of what she was capable of doing and even she was cruel to her own daughters
also the prince has an actual personality and he was funny asf in the movie not only that but this movie has made me cry ever since I watched it as a kid and STILL today lol
Everybody I knew - including myself - when we first heard of this thought this was going to suck and who could really blame us? The Wicked Stepmother steals the Fairy Godmother's wand, uses it to go back in time, and hypnotize the Prince into choosing Anastasia? In light of all the direct-to-video sequels that came before we were like "this is a new low." And then it came out and we were all like speechless. The animation, the songs, the story, the action, even the callbacks to the original film... just *chef's kiss* and we all ate crow. This along with Princess and the Frog really felt like the last hurrah of 2D animation tbh it's clear that the animators working on it put in their all to make it special. I'm still partial to the original but this was a pleasant unexpected surprise of like epic proportions for those of us who remember it on its release
@@BlueLeader101 His name was only mentioned in merchandise and, more recently, Kingdom Hearts and Prince Charming's Regal Carousel. Disney France revealed in a TV spot advertising the Blu-ray/DVD release of Cinderella that Prince Charming's real name is Henry (or "Henri" in French).
Anastasia is voiced by Daisy Duck, Drizella is voiced by Minnie Mouse, and Tremaine is voiced by Wanda from the Fairly Odd Parents. Prince Charming is voiced by Little Mermaid’s Prince Eric, the first classic prince with personality. Really good casting all around.
This Disney sequel is peak, one of the best! I loved how the creators delved deeper into the character of Anastasia and gave her a great redemption story. I also enjoy how the Prince got more of a character in this film as well. At the end of the day, “A Twist in Time” is a very good Cinderella sequel!
@@frannyc7248Eh “amazing” is overselling it. It’s good, but that whole opening musical number is cheesy as hell, and not in a good way. Actually all the musical numbers in this are freaking terrible.
Cinderella 3 was one from my fav sequels as a child, I am moved when the Prince and Cinderella touch their hands: love is stronger than magic, plus the Cinderella's face when she sees the Prince came for her. I loved its ending much better: And they lived happily ever after AGAIN.. Oh my heart, there was no need to return everything to its original timeline, But the part in which I was most sad was when Cinderella was going to be deported from the kingdom, because now I felt she lost everything, not only her dream of love with the Prince, but also her home, and her friends were not there now, she was all alone
At the veeeeeeeery end of the credits, Lady Tremaine and Drisella turn back into humans, but they're wearing the exact same servant's clothes they forced Cinderella to wear when she still lived with them. They were also holding brooms/mops when they turned back into humans in their chateau's basement (where they ended up as toads,) and screamed in horror! lol
The frustrating part is that no one ever thought of a Cinderella plot like this before; so many adaptations feel similar or boring, while a straight-to-DVD film blows them out of the water.
anastasia is one of my favourites, she turns from a mean villain to being likable, because admitted that she wanted someone to love her for herself and not as someone else, and just before she could say those 2 words during the wedding, she realised she was making a huge mistake. And she admitted that cinderella is the one who belongs to prince charmings heart. Not to mention she was even happy for them. That's why I like her now
It's a reference of the tale where the youngest stepsister is described as nicer. Also, if you look attentively, we can see she always was the one who follows
This movie made me fall in love with Prince Charming’s character. Love his genuine kindness and his rebelliousness to fight for Cinderella. And then the live action movie comes out & further seals the deal with him🩵 he became my #2 favorite Disney prince after Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty (which I hope you get to watch one day 🙏)
King:"I forbid you to take another step down these STAIRS!" Prince:".........Okay!"(Jumps out window) This movie is a hidden gem. I avoided this one for years, given that the majority of Disneys straight to video movies are poorly made cash grabs(the only ones I really liked, other than "Cinderella 3"are the Aladdin ones, given they were to set up and finish the animated series, which was a childhood favourite of mine). However, when I saw the above clip, I knew I had to see it and it was really great in the end.
This movie is fun, has good action and animation, the music is nice, Anastasia has more development and her relation with Cindy is adorable, the Prince is really charming 🥰He finally has a personality after 2 movies. I'm glad, this character is so brave and likable!
Oh Cinderella 3 was one from my fav sequels as a child, I remember that suspense I felt to seeing the Evil Stepmother with the magic wand, more evil than she is and rewriting history, she terrified me and was even cruel to her own daughters, and it's absolutely brave to me how Cinderella stands in front of Anastasia defending her from the stepmother. I like it because we see a braver Cinderella (and also for me she was always strong, yes she already was when doing hard housework) who seeks her "happily ever after" now without the help of magic, but facing it... We see more of the Prince, he is also brave and has a big humble heart, and I like how he meets Cinderella again, even though he doesn't recognize her. I feel like he falls more in love with her because of her kindness, even if he saw her dressed as a maid, and Anastasia isn't that bad and was also able to redeem herself, she just wanted someone who would love her for being herself.... The part in which I was most sad was when Cinderella was going to be deported from the kingdom, because now I felt she lost everything, not only her dream of love with the Prince, but also her home, and her friends were not there now, she was all alone, and I can't handle her expression of comfort on Cinderella's face when she sees that the Prince came for her, especially when they touch their hands: love is stronger than magic There was no need to return everything to its original timeline, I loved this ending much better: And they lived happily ever after AGAIN.. Oh my heart..
I have to say it... even though both Cinderella, the Prince, Anastasia, Lady Tremaine and even the King get a great showing in this movie, the true MVPs are the mice. Look at them just running around and helping everybody!
This is definitely one of the better Disney directed to DVD sequels out there. Right next to Tarzan II and Lion King II, this is definitely one of the top 3. I would totally recommend it.
I just watched this movie for the first time recently because I had to see what all the fuss was about (and why the Prince yeeted himself out the window in that one scene). Yeah, it's awesome!
At this point in the video sequels, there had been so much fan outrage over Cinderella II, and it had so singlehandedly blackened the image of the direct-to-videos, there was more pressure to make IIIa quality “apology”. It also helped that they had a sequel story from one of their own Cruise line stage musicals.
Say, the moment with Anastasia being not so evil after all may be a reference to the original tale, where it us directly stated that the younger stepsister was not as bad as the older one
This movie was actually the first movie I watched when I was a kid that had my cousin Jennifer voice in! Still mind blowing and so glad to see you and many others enjoying this movie!♥️
It reminds me of the 1962 musical "Billy Rose's Jumbo" how two different people bonded by love. A ring master and the fortune teller. But also, a ringmaster's daughter and a rival circus manager's son. That is a good musical film, too.
I love how Cinderella 3 continues Anastasia Tremaine's chance and success to being redeemed 💕, also for your next movie reaction I highly recommend is Turner & Hooch (1989) it's my 3rd favorite Tom Hanks movie next to the beloved Toy Story franchise and Splash (1984) another movie I highly recommend since those 2 are amazing and I figured you'd enjoy too 😁👍🏻🎥🧜🏻♀🐶🕵🏻♂

Just like with the second Cinderella movie, I also haven’t seen this one in decades. And yet I still remember liking Cinderella 3 a little more than Cinderella 2
Easily the best Disney sequel ever! It has a great sense of humor, and the does result in some pretty funny moments like the witty banter and dialogue between the characters, some of the gags and slapstick, the animation is amazingly well done considering this was done during the end of DisneyToon Studios legacy of direct-to-video sequels, I really love the idea of a villain travel back in time and wins, the characters are all still very likable, and do have some pretty solid chemistry and character development.
