I love the way the conversation and dissection around Prince and his tones flowed. A very difficult guitarist to pin one tone/sound to. And one can only recreate his studio tones, else it would be a never ending process. You have done a great job, and a tribute to a genius. I love the lead tone. Thank you. The sparkle sound (Kiss) will also work well for Duran Duran’s Notorious.
Awesome cleantone! I was at the love sexy concert in Dortmund in 1988. there are vids of it on youtube. For lets go crazy he uses the blue angel cloud guitar and his solosound was anazing ( on purple rain too). But that sound was far away from the shown solosound here. Any ideas for this endless sustain solosound?
so you didn't "build" the octaver (boss od-2) or did i miss that one? i'm asking because i own a boss od-2 and used it a lot on my analog pedal board. i've tried to replicate it with the build in options in the kemper but the results weren't convincing. now i'm wondering if it's just a lack of skill/understanding on my side or if the kemper built in effects just aren't able to sound like that.
