I bought my 347 Stroker kit from Eagle. Its a special setup for Trick Flow Twisted Wedge top end kit. Has DSS Pistons with H- Beam Rods. Its a very nice kit.
My mechanic, oldest son, talked me into building our 302 into a stroker for our 66 Bronco. Our goal is to drive the 66 to the dealership to pick up our Wildtrack. Ford seems to keep giving us more time to accomplish this. We shall definitely use your videos to help.
I like the way that You are building Your engine ! Taking Your time to make sure all your clearances are within specifications , will take You longer but You will have a superior product ! Also whose stroker kit is that ? I noticed that the pistons have dual valve reliefs so they will work with The Twisted wedge heads 👍 . Thank You for the great content ! P/S what is the imbalance of your damper and flywheel 0-28 or 50oz. any information that You are able to share will be greatly appreciated ! Thank You & Best Wishes . 🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
Hey Ferdinand. The kit came from speedmaster. It is a 50oz imbalance, but it took me two machine shops to balance. Both said the kit was not made to balance correctly. I had HUGE issues with speedmaster, so be cautious of dealing with them.
You want the oil control ring to ride in the bore the same as the piston rings. The end gaps are OK at about .020"-.025" This is how the oil control ring pack manages the proper amount of oil film in the bore without smoking and fouling. Hey just trying to help.

That’s funny. Is yours a ‘22 or did you get bumped to ‘23?

I am building a 331 small block Ford stroker this week so I appreciate your videos and wish you the best!
2 grams out of balance is a recipe for disaster especially in a stroker engine
Yep, within one gram on this one.
