Interesting concept. Reminds me of a flying container ship. It would be interesting to see the L/D comparison between this and conventional designs.
This reminded me the the concept of "safety capsule" aircraft - the capsule was detachable from wings and engines and was equipped by a parachute.
Ok can we see the transition from train to plane, would like to see how that works.
