Growing up I always looked at stuff like these type of relationships and would think "she could just leave" until it happened to me. You cant "just leave"..You feel like you'd be hurting him if you left, but he wouldnt care. You feel guilty for wanting to let go. You remember the few good times and they were so good compared to the ugly, you think it out weighs the bad. Until you leave. But some how he doesnt let you. And next thing you know, he says hes different and youre back together and he didnt change. And then you feel so stupid because you were free, what did you do this for? Now youre stuck again. But when you finally do leave for good, because you've had enough abuse and lies, you still hurt, you still feel guilty, but slowly you let go. You will NEVER get over it. And dont let that fool you. You dont get over it because it TRAUMATIZED you. Not because you're not over him. You heal, I swear to god you eventually heal. But you always will have a scar on your emotions. Almost like a really bad cut, you'll have a scar that you always see.. this scar you just cant see it. Only you know it's there. You're going to heal, but it WILL change you. And you wont like it at first. But you'll find a way around your scar. You'll embrace your scar and you'll be a whole new person. You'll never get the you you were before. Before you first traumatic heart break, but you'll be better and wiser. I promise. I'm in the phase of embracing my emotional scar. Ik it's there and I'm learning to feel again. You'll get thru it. Just please realize the reason you cant get over it is because it was traumatic, not because it was true love. Its hard to tell because you were really in love. He is a bad person and you deserve better. #healwithme #youcandoit #cryingisok #yourestrongenoughtoheal
