I’ve seen some people criticize Sky’s death and her lack of development etc. Though a part of me can agree, I mostly disagree with it. Yes, its true that ’we the audience’ didnt really get to know Sky, but the thing is, neither did ever Victor. Its not until reading her journal after her death he actually learns some things about her, and the fact that Victor knows about as much about Sky as the audience does at any given moment (or even less), is why I dont find these scenes very objectionable. Its not presented to us as if some great friend, loved one or family member to him is lost; but rather the assistant who was always there, yet never really in his mind. The one who craved his attention but was never given neither the attention she wanted or deserved. Who he himself never really knew dispite her constant presence due his obsession with his own work, and this lack of even being aware of her presence is the very reason he ends up being responsible for her death. Its not as heartbreaking as Vi and Jinx clashes, but I dont think its intended to be either. I think Its ment to be a more mellow type of sadness, than the ’cry your guts out’-type of sadness, and if seen through this phramework I think these scenes with Sky and Victor in act 3 are actually really good! At least that’s how I view it!
Cool video! For the most part, I agree with your ranking, I think I would have put ep 7 a bit higher and ep 1 a bit lower, but overall, it reflects my thoughts on the show quite well. Especially the fact that ep 2 and ep 8 are on the weaker side of things and ep 6 and ep 3 are the highlights, ep 3 especially.

It is interesting that your top 3 episodes are the final episodes of each act (I agree with that btw). Shows that they did a really good job with creating arcs with a fitting climax for each act. A reason for ranking episode 1 lower might be that it is weaker on the technical side than later ones. Depends on how you value that. What I dont agree with is your assessment of the chem baron scene in ep 7. It might be my least favorite in the whole show. Then again ep 7 also has the best scene in the show, so this one is really hot and cold for me.
