    Your walks with Lisa always make me chuckle. She always seems like she’s not quite enjoying the walk as much as you. Reminds me of when I go hiking with my wife. She tells me she’s having a good time but the body language and hunkering down into 10 layers of clothing says otherwise 😂

    So enjoying your videos. I'm moving to the UK from Australia at the end of this year to do nothing but travel and explore the ancient sites and natural features there. Got a huge list of places to visit. Thanks for such great work.

    Haven't visited for a while Dean but I enjoyed that. I noticed Lisa tip toed through the stream and you splashed on through. Lot's of water up there and chilly wind. Mind you the view up there was spectacular. I've seen it before but it's always impressive. You look well. All the best. Mark

    • @DeanRead
      @DeanRead  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Mark thanks for watching. Hope you are keeping well. Yeah Lisa didn't want to get her feet wet but I ploughed through having full confidence in the water resistance of my boots :-) haha. It's a really nice part of the world, hope to visit again soon. All the best, Dean.

      @@DeanRead A pleasure Dean. Only wet for a day I sometimes day. But hey each to our own. It looks beautiful around there. Good to see you're still enthusiastic. I'm still going through a lot of change. Peace bro.

    • @DeanRead
      @DeanRead  5 лет назад +1

      My enthusiasm has peaks and troughs as it's been a busy year. Certain issues haven't really left me with much drive to create content but I'm forcing myself out and using the outdoors as my antidote as much as possible.

    Hi there. I've walked this beautiful, rugged route on many occasions. I think it's quite spectacular. Just one point: I have understood that the Hole of Horcum was formed during the last Ice Age and that it was the friction of the retreating ice which was the cause of this geological depression. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Lovely video.

    • @DeanRead
      @DeanRead  5 лет назад

      Hi Daniel, thanks for watching. The info on the national park website says it was spring sapping but I must admit I originally thought it was glaciation before visiting a few years ago.
