Me too. Start reading a few good books on Algotrading/Quantitative Trading so I can get a good idea of the primary components of a trading system from data import to backtesting to optimizing to visualization of historical trades. Currently backtesting(and paper trading) using the python freqtrade bot which is only for trading crypto. I am currently trying to put together my own bot/trading system in python for trading futures (and maybe options down the line). I am only at the phase of looking through which python libraries to use, specifically backtesting, there are so many and I'm finding it hard to decided which one to go with. Hopefully this series will help with some of my decision making. :) many more books to read also ....
Hello and thank you for posting these series! Maybe a dumb question as I am new to trading, but what is the difference between Trading System and the Trading Robot (referring to your earlier series)? Both seem to have ability to make trades based on various strategies. Thank you!
