Kemp: “Griffin I’ll do anything!!! ANYTHING you’ll ask of me!!”
Griffin: “You Will!?! That’s fine just sit where you are...”
Savage..
Dracula and Frankenstein are cool and all, but The Invisible Man is just savage =)
like Tony Montano
He's a threat you wouldn't see coming that gives him more of a edge
@@skyshep2224He’s what you would get if Dr. Frankenstein had instead operated on himself and given himself superpowers. Just mad evil.
I can't get over the special effects in this movie, they're so well done for 1933. Idk much about movie history, but I'd say this movie set the standard for horror films and effects.
It literally involved the use of an early greenscreen precursor in which the actor was wrapped up in a black suit in front of the black screen to create the invisible effect.
When I was in fourth and fifth grade I had a friend named Martin, who took great pride in his collection of classic horror films. He had box sets of Dracula, The Mummy, Wolfman, the Invisible Man, and both of our favorite: the Creature from the Black Lagoon. This clip reminds me so much of those memories we shared staying up late at night at his house watching these old things.
I'm disappointed in Universal skipping the Creature from the Black Lagoon in Classic Monsters Collection DVD. They should have added 8 classic movies DVD of 6.
BroncosBailey ‘99 Thats a good childhood! 😁
@@TheODLawson23 I think they group The Creature differently because he comes from a different era really, the 50s.
Something about the way he said Goodbye and the timing with the brake handle seems so satisfying.
Other actors that also play the Invisible Man are good and all but imo, Claude Rains will always be the Invisible Man.
Damn the graphic details of the events he described leading up to his death 😵
That's why the Invisible man is terrifying. He'll describe in detail what he'll do to you and what will happen and then do it.
Claud rains is just deliciously evil in this role
Every actor who has ever played the Joker. Need to give Claude Rains his flowers.
Because he practically was the Joker in this movie. Even though you can’t see him. His antics, his performance, his laugh happened before the Joker. And provided a blueprint to create one of the best villains ever.
You know I can't feel sorry for Kemp. He tried to steal Flora and he betrayed the Invisible Man.
I feel VERY sorry for Kemp. He tried to escape from a himicidal maniac. Only to die at the hands of either breaking neck in car accident or burning alive upon impact. Being attracted to a chick ain’t a death sentence my g. Though, Invisible Man is ONLY empathetical to the point when they first try to arrest him assault, up until that point in the motel room was looking for a cure. Then he went crazy.
Eh , deserved.
Oh yeah. How dare he betray an evil terrorist and mass murderer? That's unforgivable!
I didn't get that vibe he was trying to steal Flora from Griffin 🤔
@@LilyZerep He asked Flora to be with him when she was worried about Jack.
This is literally the origin of the "I'll do anything you say" "Then perish" meme
I hope your car's insured, kemp. I'm afraid there's going to be a nasty accident in a minute...........a very nasty accident. lol
Comedy
Darkest sarcasm possible
Griffin I’ll do anything you ask me to, anything!
10/10 effects for its time
When he tells him how long hes waited even the cold 😂😂😂😂 damn fuckin savage 👍👍😂😂😂😂💪✊✊👊🙈🙉🙊
Well goodbye Kempe............GOODBYE!!!
That laugh of Claude Rains....................................
A bonafide Joker laugh!
Exactly how a partnership with the Joker ends!
Well, now you know what they stole their ideas from! What's
Whoops! Looks like the joke's on me. You're not Batman, after all.
@@rufust.firefly2474 Not like that.
@@moltenshard I don't see why not. This predates any fictional use of the Joker, even in the comics. And no, that's not how a partnership with the joker ends. That's how a partnership with the Invisible Man ends.

What do you think of this plot change; Invisible man has a change of heart very last minute, he injects kemp with the invisibility serum after beating kemp severely, it is then the invisible kemp that the police find in the barn, ending with a 'we got the wrong invisible man' sequence and invisible man's signature laugh heard from somewhere distant before credit-roll?
Hmmm… not bad. I could see that happening.
Apparently, Micheal Bay’s grandfather directed the special effects
I like how the car just suddenly catches on fire & explodes a little at the end.
1:30 your a dirty sneaking little rat as well good bye
1:39 (Jack laughing)(Arthur screams)
A great stress reliever & good for one's soul !
this scene was satisfying kemp only cared for himself
Poor Kemp
well, he was a dirty little coward, and a filthy, sneaking little rat as well!
@@rufust.firefly2474 GOODBYE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA KEMP: AGH!
WEASEL HATER KEMP got What Was Coming to Him! For sure One Of My Favorite Scenes In The Movie
O. K. I see your headline. Where's the rest of the article?
Why couldn't Kemp simply pull off the scarf when Griffin was using it to pull Kemp out of the car? I mean besides the whole "it's not in the script " thing.
Possibly Griffin was also holding kemp with one of his hand but kinda hard to tell since he’s invisible. While these special effects for the most part hold up very well there were limits on what they could do
It would’ve been amazing if Johnny Depp was the invisible man. Would you fans agree?
No. I've had quite enough of Johnny Depp. I think he blew his chances with me when he played Willy Wonka and then Sweeney Todd.
*Surprise.*
Kemp is stupid. The invisible man told him all his weaknesses. Kemp coulda use that to his advantage to form a better plan lol
Agustin Camejo smh movies always love to deviate from the main story 😂
@@JyMaster1 Yeah, I don't know why. As much as I love this movie, I hate what they did with Kemp, making him a dumb coward when he's supposed to be strategic and heroic.
The Invisible Man will always be the greatest out of the Universal monsters.
The Invisible Man remake is coming out on February 28th.
thanks for the warning
1:39 what kind of man screams like that
Is it Jack or Arthur
@@Jordankid365 Arthur
John Holmesx🎙️🎩🌃
A wimp like Kemp. 😅
he did say he was a coward lmao
Poor Kemp.
Great miniature car crash by effects technician John P. Fulton.
Hell, you're right but that was probably the easiest effect in this whole film!
Even by today’s standards this is brutal
The Car went through the railings and crashed on a boulder, but I don't see the body doing somersaults with broken arms and a broken neck! I AM NOT CONVINCED, DR. GRIFFIN!!!!!!
WELL GOODBYE KEMP I ALWAYS SAID YOU WERE A DIRTY LITTLE COWARD YOUR A SNEAKY LITTLE RAT AS WELL!!! GOODBYE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA KEMP: AGH!!!!
That was hidden footage!
He trick Ya...🎙️🎩🌃
We have all known someone like Kemp-----

So cool :)
I wonder if Elizabeth Banks will get to do anything cool like this in her "Invisible Woman" movie...? Sure hope so...
What about Elizabeth Moss?
@@melanieparker The last I heard, a proposed sequel to "Invisible man" with Elizabeth Moss was never more than a speculative wishful-thinking rumor. There were never, so far as I know, any actual concrete plans to make it a reality. The Banks project on the other hand, was an actual, legitimate pitch/proposal to Universal Studios by Banks herself and (ostensibly, anyway) given the green light to move forward in production. (Supposedly they even had a script by Erin Cressida Wilson.) All of this was, however, just before the *Unspecified Virus of Unknown Origin* swept the world & shut everything down and everything in Hollywood got either shelved and/or back-burnered as a result. There haven't been any new updates or reports on the Banks project since then, so it seems to be dormant at the present time.
If Kemp never called the police on Griffin, Flora and her father might have been able to convince Griffin to go with them to find a cure.
All those deaths after Griffin's escape, including his own, are partly his fault as well, due to his own cowardice.
