I agree. I’ve sought out and seen most of his films, and while he’s always great I think this is one of his two best performances (the other being in Notorious).

I agree that it's a good movie, and that the effects had improved; Price was also fine in the lead role. But the first film has a subversive vibe I like, and Rains really delivers.
