Agreed. I like a light interior so I can quickly find what I need. It's also great to use a fun colour like yellow or light green to keep it, well, FUN!
I sorta like it, Bellroy has so many lines that are parallel with similar sizing and naming you sorta have to study up on all their things before pulling the trigger on something (Tokyo, Via, Venture). I was looking at more premium technical totes a few months ago, but didn’t want to fully commit to a pricey one for my type of use. Be nice for pass through for luggage. Maybe boxier bottom to help keep it standng up. How abt a pen silo? Maybe the pass through could have a pocket or be the pocket could open as pass through. I always like a d ring on the outside
why do bag makers never include zippers INSIDE the bags? what's the point of an interior compartment if things are gonna fall out of it as soon as you flip the bag 90 degrees.
The quality of this bag is incredible, but the fabric used on this is an absolute animal hair/fuzz magnet, especially in the black colorway. It requires so much lint rolling that I almost never use it anymore. Anyone that owns pets with white/light colored fur should stay away from this one.

Definitely love a lighter inner color. Never really thought about it until I got gears that are light. Can't go back to all black/dark now.
