    Watched this review despite already having the product. I think you nailed this review and agree with you 100% . Still my favourite EDC backpack though, since I mainly travel light.
    The back pocket where you store the straps could also be used to store flat things in like a notebook, you won't feel a thing! I have the 20L version and I even once fitted a frozen pizza inside after doing groceries.

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  2 года назад +4

      Omfg you are a genius! After reviewing dozens of bags with this sort of stowage system I’ve never thought about the fact that you could actually use it as a functional compartment to store things… like a frozen pizza 😂

    • @bobfreking
      @bobfreking 2 года назад

      @@Nomads.Nation I mean, it's a balanced way of looking good. Most fashionable bags don't have any organization to start with at all :) Especially if you look at companies that focus on leatherwork.
      There are better bags in organization out there for sure, but very few are as spacious and good looking. Maybe you can recommend some? Haha

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  2 года назад +1

      @@bobfreking imo Bellroy Melbourne, Bellroy Transit Pack, Black Ember Shadow, WANDRD PRVKE, Boundary Supply Errant are some examples that are super fashionable (in their different ways) and offer great organization

    • @bobfreking
      @bobfreking 2 года назад +1

      @@Nomads.Nation Thanks! But yeah I guess fashionable is a very subjective term. The former ones you suggested look great for casual on-the-go commuting, and the latter ones look techwear inspired.
      I'd argue you can bring specific colorways of this one to even a semi-formal event. Maybe more for the premium version, that's why I love the balance on this one. :)

I've been thinking of getting a suitable backpack for travelling - use in the cabin & while at destination - as opposed to an EDC. This could fit the bill. I actually agree with you and always look for bags with a good solution for interior storage of 2 (yes, that's right, 2) insulated cups - one for water and one for coffee. If the bag has outside pockets anyway, I use for umbrella and mask.

    Hey,
    I know this video is one year old and you probably won’t ever see this comment, but I think it’s important to mention the fact that it only has one entrance to the main compartment is good for security. It means that to pull something out of your main compartment a thief would have to reach up to your shoulder height unzip the compartment then dig their hand into the bag. Versus when you have a side pocket which is way easier to quickly shove their hand into the compartment after they bump into you.

    Hey Aaron! Thank you so much for this review. I am currently doing a research, and your channel is extremely helpful! May I suggest some bags to review?
    Bellroy Tokyo Workbag, Bellroy System Messenger, and Bellroy Tech briefcase.
    I am a media composer and I am looking for some solutions to transform my studio to a mobile studio. I am looking some kind of bags that can casual, functional and comfortable; also look professional if I have to go to a meeting. Thank you so much! :)

    • @Advanced469
      @Advanced469 2 года назад

      I have the Tech Briefcase and Tokyo Workbag. After using both, I have to say that the Tokyo Workbag is the most functional messenger style bag I've used. It has a very nice partitioned exterior front pocket for tech gear. Good organization in the interior that is also surprisingly spacious inside and it can expand quite nicely as well and has a well designed exterior water bottle pocket. A back panel pocket and luggage pass through ties it all together. The tech briefcase is cheaper and a lot simpler but it lacks a lot in utility if that's what your looking for. I skipped on the system messenger as the style just didn't vibe with me.
