The thing is, vedel already is at a disadvantage towards other vtubers because he's using neuro as the streamer. Other vtubers can just bring themselves and do anything, but neuro is very limited compared to them. All she can do is talk (of which she is great at ) and play a few games terribly. That partof the reason our turte boi has it really rough. Proud of him for all he's achieved in spite of all that though.

Honestly? Just have to play campaigns that have a strict end date. 1 month, 2 month, or 3 month once a week commitments . Can’t play campaigns that go on until “whenever they finish” when people have kids, spouses, careers, and other things.
i'm feeling that on just regular online games. i tried for half a year to organize a simple pavlov game night and i failed. i just gave up now, i'm waiting till i can have AI friends that can play with me on whim instead. meanwhile, single player it is.

To be fair, language-based AI are a lot (and I mean a *lot*) easier to program than game-playing ones. Language models can just take something like, for example, raw calendar data and recent text messages as input and select good collab times out of the box. It would probably take more than a few days to set up a basic one, but likely not more than a week or two. I think it would be a high-reward idea for him.

The idea that "if I schedule a collab a few weeks in advance, then what am I gonna do now" is asinine. Because by Vedals own admission He Doesnt Have Collabs anyway precisely due to the scheduling problem. And that is not going to go away. If you are going to go a week or two or however long, without a collab because you schedule stuff only several weeks in-advance. Its still going to be better than this seemingly perpetual monkey dance of "wanna do a collab next week? You cant? Oh well", rinse and repeat until you are out of potential collab partners and two weeks have gone by. That being said people getting pissed at him for not being able to keep up with DMs isnt good either. He still has an AI to code and doesnt have a manager. A lot of people are bad at this, so there is no reason to flip out and have drama over it. Thoguh some work needs to be done to improve communication.

Agreed, I'm hoping it doesn't come to this but I'm a little nervous that if the fan base pushes him hard enough, he'll vanish off of twitch. Don't get me wrong, he has full rights to if he feels like what he wants, but I would miss him and the content he and neuro put out. To be honest I would encourage him to take breaks or slow down content drops if he needs to, especially to avoid burnout.
He does overcomplicate things for himself a little bit, the "I don't want to just have just talking collabs every time" is definitely the biggest over-complication (I'm not sure most viewers even notice that collabs are sometimes not just chatting), but limiting himself to only doing one collab a week and refusing to schedule something for the next week because it is this week also do not help ^^' Well the BIGGEST overcomplication is him believing he needs to do everything by himself and doesn't need any help

Language models can just take something like, for example, raw calendar data and recent text messages as input and select good collab times out of the box. It would probably take more than a few days to set up a basic one, but likely not more than a week or two. I think it would be a high-reward idea for him.

Exactly. It's nothing that hasn't been done a thousand times before. Just needs a little experimentation of what works and weekly time dedicated to it. The advantage he has is that he has a lot of freedom to decide how much time cuz he doesn't work for a boss.

The idea that "if I schedule a collab a few weeks in advance, then what am I gonna do now" is asinine. Because by Vedals own admission He Doesnt Have Collabs anyway precisely due to the scheduling problem. And that is not going to go away. If you are going to go a week or two or however long, without a collab because you schedule stuff only several weeks in-advance. Its still going to be better than this seemingly perpetual monkey dance of "wanna do a collab next week? You cant? Oh well", rinse and repeat until you are out of potential collab partners and two weeks have gone by.
That being said people getting pissed at him for not being able to keep up with DMs isnt good either. He still has an AI to code and doesnt have a manager. A lot of people are bad at this, so there is no reason to flip out and have drama over it. Thoguh some work needs to be done to improve communication.

Agreed, I'm hoping it doesn't come to this but I'm a little nervous that if the fan base pushes him hard enough, he'll vanish off of twitch. Don't get me wrong, he has full rights to if he feels like what he wants, but I would miss him and the content he and neuro put out. To be honest I would encourage him to take breaks or slow down content drops if he needs to, especially to avoid burnout.

Vedal obviously is stressed out over all this like it’s obvious, but what I think shows more is how hard he is trying to give people what they want while also having it to where it works out for those collabing with.
It’s no secret people want to be involved with Neuro, the AI is beloved, it’s pumping so many views with the streams and above all is excellent coding done by the man himself…however, he is one man it’s not a full team it’s just him and for him to forget messages while pushing content out and overall go over his limits to entertain you can see he is at the point where it’s getting too much and it’s showing just with how he’s reacting to all this, like at some point you gotta give the man some slack as he’s improving the code, pushing content out and generally making it to where these collabs are able to happen.
Honestly I just feel sorry for the fella as he’s really not getting the recognition and gratitude for what he’s doing, instead he’s got people in chat saying “just build a manager” like yeah you are trying to be funny but coding a whole AI isn’t just a snap of the fingers and boom there’s a AI, like let the man have a break or couple of days off so he can sort it out or find someone suitable to help him like ffs don’t hound him for more.

As a former analyst this made me both giggle and sigh at the same time. The amount of squirming programmers do when they realize they have to learn time management and planning, and that they are not naturally gifted at it, is hilarious to me😂. No, he shouldn't hire a manager, and no he shouldn't program one. Cuz as a programmer i can guarantee you he doesn't let himself be managed by anyone but himself. I got burnout over trying to do the talking and planning on behalf of programmers so i guarantee you it doesn't work. Vedal ma boi: just decide how much collabing you want to do, set clear expectations and plan time in your day or week to do these planning chores. You can actually organise that as a program with a logical flow that you repeat daily or weekly. And yeah, you'll have to experiment with what works and you're gonna drop the ball cuz you're learning. Just take those L's and keep improving that skill at your pace.
