Sadly I do agree about VCS. I don’t agree with the business decisions, nor do I get the best performance. If I get something in a mystery box, I’ll melt it but that’s about where it ends for me.
Totally agree with your thoughts on VCS. Her prices increased when she announced she was closing in 2023 and mostly offered Blossom Bars only for the majority of the year. Many went into "panic mode and FOMO" buying taking her at her word that she was done with her business only to open back up within a month and increase prices again. You know the old saying "Fool me once, shame on you." Fool me twice is not happening. Too many other vendors I enjoy and that perform better in my home! Great chop & chat! I always enjoy!🙂
I haven't ordered much and am not familiar with alot if the popular blends, I just dabbled a bit with small orders from VCS but I recently order one scent that I had warmed and I remember loving and hadn't seen it for awhile. Her prices are steep but the name of the scents stuck in my brain so I had to get it. Anyway I asked her to change my address like a day later because I found out I was going to be out of town a few days during the week it might ship and she replied no problem that she would take care of it. Luckily I was home the day it came because she did not change the address and it ended up coming to my home Anyway. I know things happen maybe she forgot but that kind of didn't sit well with me
Whewww Ashley you hit the nail on the head about vcs. No maam. And at almost 10 bucks for a soufflé is pretty steep. Like you said it’s so many other vendors out there to support! ❤ on another positive note: I’ve been melting some of my Blank Label and it’s been doing well in my home. Thanks for posting about this vendor.. great chop and chat too
I can’t wait until Dessa is back with Sugared Zucchini Streusel. It’s one of my faves! Can’t wait to try more from her too
Great chop and chat. VCS to me, is overpriced for wax that unfortunately doesn’t do well in my home. I also dont support that vendor, especially when there are so many vendors that have amazing wax at much more reasonable pricepoints.
Jason, I didn't even begin to comment on the price gouging from last year and earlier this year. It's another contributing factor of my disgust. Thanks for watching ❤️
I agree her wax has gotten so overpriced I ordered quite a bit last year because she was closing but she opened right back up and also with a price increase you get free shipping over 75 but with those prices it evens out lol

Ashley I think we are scent sisters at least with bakery! I don’t see a lot of Wildberry Mousse love but it’s one of my very favorites (especially with zucchini bread and cotton candy frosting). Also Martha and snoop is a fave of mine (similar blends can be found with other vendors too though).

I had no idea about wrapping in foil 😮 i have some Glitterati from 2017 2018 that i wish i knew about the foil 😂 however it is double bagged and throws phenomenal 🙂 her wax just gets better and better never had one bit lose scent or get weak. A top favorite vendor for me ❤❤❤
Old Town san Diego and Coronado is my favorite. Had my first baby in the Coronado navy hospital ❤ 18 years ago in August 😮😢😮 that seemed so odd to say and sad 😢😂 my baby is almost the age i was when i had him 😮😮😢 wow.. thank you for that memory ash ❤ some amazing years of my life i spent in san Diego ❤❤❤

Part of vacation is cheating on diets. Don’t even worry about what you eat. Go on vacation & eat everything you want to eat regardless of if you’re “ allowed to have it” or not. ❤️❤️❤️That’s literally what vacation Is. Doing things we don’t normally do

@@AshleyOverly we love you. Just please promise us all that you won’t get so caught up in what you “ should do” or “ shouldn’t do” that you forget to let yourself enjoy things even if it might not be the healthiest option. We just want you to still have joy! Because trust me- life without joy starts to feel a lot like death. I’ve been there at times. For different reasons but I’ve still felt it.

I had to go on a rose girls diet also 😂😂 i have extreme amounts of her wax 😂😂 i don't know if i can ever use it all.. i am staying off her page until mario because i need fire mario 😂 and then back on my diet (may need to excuse myself from some pages so i can actually stop buying wax because the amount i have is beyond just a lot 😂😂 i love wax to much..
