What about actually solving the problem of the the coastal fishermen?
Ban trawlers from within 15 kilometers of the coast, and enforce it via Indian Coast Guard and Navy? Confiscate any trawler found fishing in this zone.
Do this as a national policy; do this after suitable public discussion with the fishermen community all along the coast? Isn't it both more important than bashing the DMK, and also getting the fisher people communities' votes?

To my knowledge, the entire coastal areas have mostly been converted to christianity, and you'll find numerous churches in these coastal areas. And of late there has been a huge demographic shift of the muslim community towards the coastal areas. So connect the dots and the whole picture will fall in place. A senior leader who defected from dmk and started his own political outfit has openly stated in the public that many times he went to Sri Lanka from TN state during the LTTE conflicts. And mind you these visits were not on record and were on the sly. But it's an open secret that the seeds of separatism has long been sown in the minds of tamils by the D-stock ideology gang ecosystem. For Annamalai to break this will be a herculean task and will take a lot of time. Katcha Theevu return to India 🇮🇳 will be a game changer in the 2026 TN state election and will be one of the Ace cards for BJP.
