Maybe I’m not thoroughly convinced of the perceived spirituality here, but the title is “Use THIS gospel” instead of “use THE gospel”. There is only one gospel and using the word THIS” indicates another option? Are they trying present a different gospel? Just something that stuck out to me. Hope I’m wrong.

An evil culture that has never repented and turned TO Christ, can not turn "back" to God. God's word tells us that Satan is the God of this fallen sinful world...and that the world will continue to escalate in evil, just "as it was in the days of Noah," until the Rapture event occurs, then the seven-year Great Tribulation occurs, then the Second Coming of Christ, after this fallen world is destroyed.

You can tell Eminem has been going through a transformation over the years. Starting with his Marshall Mathers LP2 Album (2013) he began dropping hints about his views and beliefs about Jesus being challenged. He also did a song called Best Friend after that album that pretty plainly says he's become a believer in God. I'm sure he's still struggling with completely letting go & letting God, especially with all his wealth and fame, but he definitely hears Jesus knocking at his door. And I'm guessing he's close to turning the knob and letting Him in.

I was an early fan of Em in my younger years, but moved on, so I haven't been listening to his ongoing fight through his music. It seems to me though, that he is finally sensing that he's aging and is facing what all of us have to face - the eventual end of our lives, what we've done with our time here, and what lies ahead. Em has always been brutally honest in his writing in the past, so I'm going to guess he's sincere here too. Thanks Wonder Mike, for the review today. Love the moves. 😂🥰

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:3-4
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1 John 2:15-17
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:4
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him. John 14:21
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:16
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1 John 3:9 (The new man)
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:13-14
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:14-26
For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to Him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 1 Peter 4:3-5
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (True believers)
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:19
Because it written, Be ye holy; for I Am Holy. 1 Peter 1:1

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

I see it as a testament to how music ultimately is an intrinsic part of God. There is something about Rap and Screamo that I just don't like, on more than just the content, on a tempo level or something - but it's intriguing how once you add Christianity to it, whether if it's actually legible or not (especially in Screamo's case), it seriously becomes more tolerable to listen to.
Ultimately, I see the multilingual version of "How Great Is Our God" as a perfect example of what I am trying to convey: it's a reversal of Babel, once God is the subject of a song, even in languages that diametrically don't mesh on a structural level, it synchronizes into a harmony. It reminds me of the Great Song from Tolkien's Silmarillion, something that was inspired by the idea of God weaving Creation like a symphony of all good things.

If Marshall IS Christian now, I'll welcome him as a brother.
However, I'd also recommend that you do some digging before telling everyone that he's officially a Christian. Eminem is no stranger to controversy or angles that he knows will get people's attention. Honestly, he's an artist at just about anything he does, so bear that in mind.
All of that isn't to say that because he's creative means that he's lying. But this is something that'd be really cool if it turns out to be legit.

Marshall grew up in a home where Christian elements were talked about ALL the time, so for someone like him, writing from that angle would be no problem.
Also, there's a lot of not necessarily religious people who still believe in the Devil and other demonic entities, without believing in God or Jesus specifically.
Again I WANT this to be true, but it also makes sense, knowing who Eminem is, that he could make a banger song from an angle he doesn't identify with personally.

If either of these guys truly converted themselves to God and His gospel then they would separate themselves from a music genre that like many others is anything but godly...
It really doesn't matter what the lyrics are when the music itself sounds just like the music of the world!!! So much " Christian" music sounds exactly like the world's music...
Also the artists that create the music dress and behave just like the world as well...
These people do not represent the kingdom of God.. they are false witnesses ...
If I saw on the news that either Kanye or Eminem had announced that they were walking away from the music industry, repenting of all of the godless music that they produced and apologizing, and refusing to continue to be enriched by those songs... In addition to giving all of their wealth to the poor, than I would sit up and take notice... But these guys aren't truly willing to follow Jesus, not the real Jesus anyway.. They like many others will follow another Jesus, one that facilitates them doing what is right in their own eyes!!!

While obviously while certainly being a symbol of evil in these present times, Marshal Mathers doesn’t compare to Saul in any way. The Scriptures tell us in Matthew chapter 7 to navigate a situation such as this. First by not judging (Matthew 7:1-6) Then by being attentive to the future behavior. (Matthew 7:17-23)
I pray that Marshal has found true repentance, and bears fruit in keeping with repentance as his influence could be a great testimony to the saving power of The Lord Jesus Christ!

@@ButterflyRebekah wack af, it's not music it's just a non American wanna be rapper catering to Christians to sell his records with basic concepts and no level of musicality. It's unbearable to the ears.

He did also do a song called Best Friend with Yelawolf that was also a confession of his belief in God so good for him.

He has multiple songs of confession like that going back to Infinite "In the midst of insanity I found Christianity". He responded to Kj-52's "Dear Slim" with 'be careful what you wish for' saying "I appreciate the prayer but i've already told you a 1000 times in these rhymes I already have God on my side"
