I can not believe how good the bedding looks made from paper towels. Brilliant!😍 I can totally see how the two projects look as if they belong together. And those fancy cocktail forks are great. Im gonna be looking for those types of plastic ware to use in the future. I looks great, you cant even tell and I have endless ideas..yea I need some of those in my life😊❤
The texture on the painted paper towels gives the look of Damask material without the bulk. Plus more moldable and drapable than real material would have. Thank you for yet another great idea.
Fab. And great to see how to make a bed so easily. I watched Ara's video too, and now I'm following her too. You ladies really have kept me sane over the last few months when I've been housebound. Thank you
Absolutely gorgeous .really love the bed and unless I saw it being done I would not have believed the curtains and bedding were just paper towels lol..I really liked the surroundings and the windows were so pretty too 😀
Wow! So much talent! I absolutely love the floor!! And everything else! You definitely have a new fan. That is the first time I didn't hate the music in the background of a video.
Haha Thank you Claudia! I try to match the music to whatever I am creating and I don't like obnoxious beats and weird sounds. I hope you stick around for all the other stuff I am creating too :)
Absolutely brilliant Chantal; the windows are genius and the way you used the kitchen paper had me gobsmacked! I noted you were being ‘covid careful’ and using a minimum of the paper - wouldn’t want the same shortage of kitchen roll that we did with TP, eh? Altogether a fabulous collaboration and I’d like to say thanks for making a video that showcased your skill and kept me enthralled.
'it's only 5 sheets' hehe I wanted to stick to the prompt and I'm not a hoarder. Every artist out there should have a roll of paper towels on their desk, it's a staple! :) Thanks so much for your ongoing support, Hazel!
Found Bentley House first and subscribed right away! Then she referred me here and subscribed right away here as well. So the referrals are working! Beautiful job ladies! Thank you for sharing your talents!
Wow so talented! This room is amazing! I love the techniques you have used - the bed is fantastic! I create in the same way as you...it just kind of happens as I go. Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️
Darkest Raven Designs I am not set up on youtube yet but I have a small Facebook page for my hobby projects, under this name. It’s just a hobby page, nothing too special 😊. You’re welcome to visit any time!
Wow...U and Ara r soo simular in your style..and beyond talented!!!.so glad u met and have shared with all of us so we have another person to follow and enjoy watching..Ara’s old coffee shop is my very favorite!!!it was amazing to watch step by step of that come together..lthen her Adams family is just amazing too..can’t wait to look through all u do too and see what u have done.thx for the recipes and that floor on this project just came alive when u added all the coloring...the walls are great and I love the window..
Very well done! Amazing work! I love that bed! Came over from Ara's Channel after seeing her project with you! I am so glad I discovered it! Thank you Ara for the suggestion!! Thank you Darkest Raven for sharing! Now I have more videos to watch! More ideas I can, hopefully, use in MY projects, too!
Thank you. THANK YOU!! I’ve been searching for a quick and easy cauldron idea that doesn’t use polymer clay and your chamber pot gave me that much-needed lightbulb moment!! Thank you again.
Hello I wanted to say I found your channel from Ara at Bentley House Miniatures. I love all things miniature and especially things made to look old. I look forward to watching your videos!
Love your collaboration with Ara! Subscribed and now looking forward to watching your other videos. Your paper towels as fabric is a great idea, thank you for the inspiration!
Fabulous! Wish I had seen this a week ago when I was making a mattress and curtains. Now I know some additional ways to do it, especially since I don't like to sew.
This is so awesomely done!!! I am coming from Ara's channel and I am hooked on your channel now! New Subscriber for sure!! You have such a God Given talent as Ara has. Can't wait to binge watch your videos!! Stay safe !! Hugs from Lancaster,Pa. USA. 🙏💓
That was awesome! I love how you just go in with no plan and it just comes out perfect! I do the same method with my felt patterns, I just wing it and see what happens, lol. You are so talented with these 😍🙌😃
Love your work! So I am subscribed now, thanks to Ara's recommendation. So glad you did this colab with her! You are both talented artists and fun to watch!
9:34 That’s a good idea for a mattress! Covering it and making bed linens for it would be a good way to use up a little of all the fabric I have. Someone gave me fabric so I ended up with quite a bit.
Have you tried using a square leather punch for cutting flooring squares/tiles? I think that might be easier as you can use different sizes and cut multiple layers.
Oh my gosh! You both did amazing work. I was really skeptical about the paper towel plan you had , but it turned out awesome and now I want to use that method. You said you didn't want to use clay cuz not everyone has it, but.... everyone can make it very easily with common household stuff. I laughed when I saw you make the chamber pot because I literally had to set down my piece of Styrofoam I was making a pot out to put this video on then got too absorbed in it to finish the pot hahaha.
This is awesome I just happened on your videos thanks to a member of a miniatures group I am in...I Loved this video, the theme & make...but would like to know what U used for the carpet/throw rug that is under the bed??? I am going to explore your other videos here in a few minutes but wanted to Thank U for sharing your talents with everyone!!! U are Awesome!!!
That was so fun and a genius way to use the material!!! Thank you again for collabing with me 💖💖
I had a lot of fun working with something different! Thank YOU for the collab :) Unto the next one ;)
Can't wait to see another colab with you two!!!
I would have never thought to paint paper towels to make fabric!! Loved the window design. Great job 👏🏻
Thank you! I was set for a challenge, but it was fun to explore!
bed curtains out of dyed papers towels ...FAB!
I can not believe how good the bedding looks made from paper towels. Brilliant!😍 I can totally see how the two projects look as if they belong together. And those fancy cocktail forks are great. Thanks! Look in party sections of stores too, there might be more interesting shapes there :)
@RavensMinis yes😍 that was my first thought!
The texture on the painted paper towels gives the look of Damask material without the bulk. Plus more moldable and drapable than real material would have. Thank you for yet another great idea.
Thanks so much! I will definitely use that technique again
That totally looks like it could be her Alchemist's bedroom!!
Haha that is what Ara said too! Thanks so much for watching!
I found myself gasping out loud at the fan blade windows! So cool!
Thank you 😁
Fab. And great to see how to make a bed so easily. I watched Ara's video too, and now I'm following her too. You ladies really have kept me sane over the last few months when I've been housebound. Thank you
I have been totally enthralled by this video. I absolutely love this idea so much. Thank you for sharing this idea with us all. Amazing! ❤from Uk 🇬🇧
You are so welcome!
That looks sooooo real and so amazing. Nice work once again.👍👍
Enjoyed the video as always.
Take care.
You're so inventive. Watching someone experiment is great. Thank you
thanks so much!
I love the paper towel curtains. Awesome
Absolutely gorgeous .really love the bed and unless I saw it being done I would not have believed the curtains and bedding were just paper towels lol..I really liked the surroundings and the windows were so pretty too 😀
Thank you Christine!
Amazing isn’t it?! She’s so creative! 🥰

I can't believe how amazing the paper towel looked. The curtains looked like velvet! Great collab. I loved both!
I'm glad there wasn't a contest or vote between you and Ara.... Unanimous tie! Great work!
Thank you Rhonda!
Amazingly Beautiful creativity 😍👏👏🙋♀️
WOW!!! Amazing work!!!!!

I came out really nice. I'm glad to see that you added color. So many times people forget but they had colored during Medieval Times.

I love these videos!! If you already have plaster paste, then all you need is a stone/brick stencil. Might save time
Yep, have done that in another video. I like to mix it up a bit 😄
Wow 🤩
I'd love it if you mention which glues you use as you glue.
I was wondering how the paper towel would be used lol.. I'm just shocked it didn't rip when it got wet with paint! Awesome job!! 💖
Thanks lovely!
Fantastic build :) Aaargh, the front bed posts really triggered my OCD! LOL :)
Thank you!
Oopsies! haha It was just turning out that way and I went with it.
@@RavensMinis Awww bless you :) That's just me but I love your work and content :D

My husband and two sons are all floor layers. They’d have given you a very competitive quote on that floor lol.
