I would honestly call them "fairly large bugs". Giant is an exaggeration. If I'd been fighting the *giant* bugs, your first job would be to chisel me out of about 3000 gallons of dried bug goop.
Any bugs that are big enough to require mechs to fight are giant bugs. Especially since bugs are tiny little things

16/4/24 ( Tuesday ) 11.41 pm. Fighting giant bugs ? It seemed that machanic AnnAnn was in the Starship Troopers universe, doing repair and maintenance works. Would she crossover into Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5, Halo, Battlestar Galactica, Gundam, even Command and Conquer universe ? So many multi-universes.

I never played Helldivers, but I was an AT-TE gunner when the 501st made their debut on Geonosis... There were bugs EVERYWHERE and it was NOTHING like the simulations on Kamino. 😳

I hope my infantry comrades are enjoying a pleasant attention just as I did. Those Giant bugs werent that powerful, the infantry sent against the medium slze bugs should have fared better than we did. I always thought of the videos on the official media as a mean to disincourage the cowardly, all that carnage has to be an exaggeration.
I think out of all of the characters you've done, this is the one I'd want to be friends with the most.
Also, I hope it's okay to make small corrections, but the "a" in acid is a "Short A" sound, like apple, cat, flag or sad.

This is clearly a strong AI system, comparable to or surpassing human intelligence in at least some ways. It reminds me of the self-aware main battle tanks called Bolos, from the book series first conceived by Keith Laumer. However, it should be noted that the first models of Bolos were not self-aware.
