The history of Reggae /Dancehall music cannot be written without the name Echo Minott 🎶
That name about echo,it is from DJ General Echo the number one young DJ in the 1970s and. Died in 1980 before Echo Minott came in the 1980s,I and General Echo born in the same year. But I was a couple of months ahead of him, anyone that named echo.. He got the name from General Echo,I know when sassafras by Black scarpio by Headley Ave by Dews Land.I know when Edith Dalton junior secondary school was built,it was built by the pnp party government ministers them in the 1970s. That school is about 45 to 46 years old,or it could be a bit older.I heard about Echo Minott but, I cannot remember see him. Before he got popular,I already migrated from Jamaica.
The appreciation for teach dem is beyond words respect and manners. One day the way how u set your questions you would have to give us your story in similar format let us your a/c cause we pass fans send in few questions too bless up yourself

I learnt so much from this one just like the king Kong interview, the echo minott I knew I thought was a one hit wonder with lazy body, I never knew he sang Babylon boops around the world and other hit songs I was extremely astonished listening to history... Teach dem I gotta say I've been a dance hall fan since 1986 I live in Brooklyn NY by way of Trinidadian heritage with a few relatives in Spain town ja I learnt so much these past few months watching your interviews than I thought I did in thirty plus years being a big big big gigantic fan of the culture... I just have a special love for the 80s danceall that sound system live performance by the artist, wasn't in JA in the 90s visited only 3 times didn't experience much of the 90s danceall. Real legend in the business another great one Teach.

Love Mr Teach Dem Our Greats Especially From late 70s 80s to 90s and Early 2000s Really get to appreciate their contribution, I realized also these Years were built on Love and Passion for The Music not knowing the monetary side of the industry they wasn't expecting much out of it Boomed the most Creativeness and took reggae to this level .The World knows Marley but on an International scale it could have ended and remained in that Era just like many types of music which are no longer around except for the occasional one hit wonders EXCELLENT SHOW
