Wow! I was there just last week for Dia de los Muertos & had no idea that this storm & damage had happened just 2 months ago. We saw the bridge being repaired but everything else was so clean again. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for taking the time to make the video. Not even the newscasts do as good a job as the one you share with us. Thanks and blessings! Wishing everyone recovers soon!
Ya no recordaba como era vivir en Vallarta y asi fue toda mi infancia y adolescencia, y al dia siguiente la gente sonriendo amo mi gente vallartense!!..Vamos pa delante como siempre!!..mis oraciones con ustedes!!
Wow, this showed that the damage was far worse in this area than seen in other videos. Thank you for sharing. My husband and I will be in PV mid October. We will definitely make sure to spend some time and money in this area to help this community get back on their feet!
Thank you for posting, good video. Showing how much destruction was caused. I will be in Vallarta towards the end of December. I hope no more big storms hit the area anytime soon.
Thank you so much for the video. How heartbreaking! So much work to be done to just get the bridges repaired. I am going to be in PV at the beginning of October. I will make sure to tip well and shop at the small businesses.
Thank you so much for presenting this raw and unedited video. We live in PV during the winters and consider it our home away from home and it makes us so sad to see the damage and destruction. Your video retraced the walks I do most every morning. It killed a little part of my soul to see how much damage there is. We pray for all of the people of PV and know that they will rebuild and life will go on, but in the mean time, life will have many challenges.
I’m from Vallarta, I was born and raised there for almost my entire life, and usually whenever there’s hurricane alerts nothing really happens like a couple of years ago, and I thought that it was gonna be the same this year, I stayed home and didn’t go to work that day and HOLY SHIT THANK YOU DAD FOR NOT ALLOWING ME TO GO TO WORK, I was so surprised when the bridge just collapsed, my mom showed me a video, and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’m scared of the weather and for the people here tbh.
Thank you! You have taken us up close and personal, to PV’s aftermath! Our local friend’s, waiter’s and store clerk’s/ owner’s, have been through enough, Covid, and now, this. Heart wrenching, to watch. Such resilient, people. I love PV!
I just recently visited Puerto Vallarta an absolutely beautiful place I really hope everyone is ok and repairs aren't to difficult. Best wishes to everyone there
Thank you for sharing the views of how, beautiful PV, was affected. It is heartbreaking ❤️🩹 and thank you so much for mentioning and suggesting that people be generous. I’ve been saying this since last year. Stay safe and thanks again for a great video:
Thank you for uploading your video so soon. It helps ua get a notion of the magnitude of the devastation. It's much better than the images many have posted.
Thank you for sharing your video of the area and it is so sad to see all the devastation that Hurricane Nora did to beautiful Puerto Vallarta. My friends and I have many friends down in the area and we are sending you all our thoughts and prayers to everyone in the area and we hope that everyone is safe. I will be reaching out to the red cross and local fundraising groups to send money to help along with the relief and recovery efforts from this storm. Stay safe and #keepstrongPV
@@DedraFabreTravelingChronicles no, because is they have landslides too. I will recommend you to stay at north right now, like marina. Versalles, fluvial
Hola. Been here for two weeks in Puerto Vallarta for my first time and locals say that haven’t seen Rio Cuale this high in fifty years. 😱. God bless México and USA.
So sorry to see the damage there. I just left the city the day before the hurricane. I had a great time there. Thanks for sharing the video. Wishing all a speedy recovery.
This is sad to see and I haven't seen anything this bad in 20+ years traveling down there! I'm glad all my friends are safe but so many lots their homes and businesses ruined. I'll be down there in a month and will definitely be generous for sure and assist those in need! Thanks for your great reporting and stay safe 👍 👏 👌
Congrats for you video which allowed us to witness how hard that storm was. Too bad for all those ppl who'll urgently need a hand. I'd help but unfortunately I'm too far from PV. God bless them all.
THank you soo much for showing this!! My family is from Jalisco and we visited this place often. Just went our last time in 2019 before the Covid pan demic. We are shocked to see these neigh orhoods like this we are very sad. Thankyou because we dont see this news much in the US and so appreciate to know of this. I will definitely find a way to help out. This is one of those beautiful places where the locals and people are so kind and make our sttay so much nicer. God bless you lol out there! Take care. And also thanks for calling it out the bridges are definitely not safe and ar not constructed to survive floods and hurricanes out there so u did the right thing.
Thank you for providing the latest news on the events in PV. It appears that I was able to leave PV by the skin of my teeth since I was there from August 14-28. Although I had a fabulous time, I am so sorry to see how people are having a tough time with the damage and to think that PV was not in the eye of the storm. I wish everyone a speedy recovery. 🙏🙏🙏
Puerto Vallarta is defined by the natural charm of its beaches embraced by the Sierra Madre mountains; the essence of its culture, gastronomy and traditions; and the warmth and hospitality of being welcomed like a friend. This magical destination has an authentic Mexican taste and spirit.
Thank you for sharing this video. It has some of the most compelling scenes I’ve seen. My only other comment is that the Rio Caule is and always was a RIVER… not a creek, now a river…yes, now a raging river, but always a river. Good work.
Thanks for sharing. Your vidéo .im from vallarta ,i was on april. visiting my mom and my family, they are Ok, but this is so sad for our city, i never see this before in vallarta

Hey Pat, so sorry to see all of the damage there. I have spent some time in that area years ago when I traveled through Mexico. It is a very beautiful place to be. Unfortunately they do get storms like this from time to time. I am glad to see you posted some of the organizations that people can send money to so these people can get back on their feet. The Mexican people are a strong group of people and they look out for one another. Very family oriented. They work hard and play hard too. Keep safe my friend.

We would very much like to see what these streets look like today. Will you make another video? You have done very good and important work with this footage. I hope the community of Puerto Vallarta is recuperation well after the devastation that Nora left in her path. Also, if I may suggest, please use Spanish subtitles in your video. Thank you.
Thanks for the video. Best coverage I've seen so far. You really showed the areas affected well. Slowly walking through them and pausing to let us take in the destruction and the situations. Most videos do a quick 360 and move on. Thanks for taking the time to show us. I have a vacation planned for November this year. I'll remember to be generous when I do.
