Into the Eye of Hurricane ORLENE (2022)

- On this expedition, chaserdude Josh Morgerman hunts down Hurricane ORLENE in a remote corner of Sinaloa, Mexico, in October 2022. The cyclone was rapidly weakening as it came ashore, but it still had lots of lightning and a surprisingly gorgeous stadium eye. A friendly dog seemed as curious about the hurricane as Josh.

I literally had to put the video on .25 playback speed to spot the eye in the satellite imagery at the beginning. I'm surprised the storm was even as strong as it was with that presentation. Great video as always Josh! Love your collabs with Erik!
Thanks so much. Yeah, the satellite presentation was full-on pathetic. Like you, I am surprised it was as solid as it was on the ground-- and that it even had a distinct eye-- given that what it looked like from above.

A very mild hurricane, but a very wholesome overall experience.
The dog, kitten, and man with the mangos were all pretty great things to have on a chase.

an hour, to then face yet another hurricane! But, rewarded with an unusually 'dry' storm full of lightning and an amazing eye!

What causes all the lightning in hurricanes? That was pretty cool there at the beginning, it was lighting up the sky minute by minute. I also could feel the relief of you pulling up in your driveway lol. Nice calm chase!
Well a hurricane is a intense tropical thunderstorms ok an will have lightning activity

A question tho, why you never make videos on SWIO and AUSTRALIAN or EVEN NORTH INDIEAN OCEAN CYCLONE I mean the cyclones there are also much more powerful 😐
I've chased in Australia before, but the pandemic prevented international travel these past few years. Either way, cyclones in the Southern Hemisphere are not more powerful than ones in the Northern Hemisphere.
@@iCyclone Agree but southern hemisphere cyclones are also strong like freddy recently and others however the problem is that our local meteorology don't give exact track of the cyclone
