OMG, this was mesmerizing to watch! It was almost as much fun as watching your progress in person. I love the colors and the design, and even love that you painted the top for our residents that live above it! Thank you for sharing your artwork with our town. 💜💙💜
Excellent work brother! great vivid colours. It would be great to see some snapshots of emails/design briefs you recieve on these projects, it would build up context for the projects and be a useful insight for other muralists like myself. Cheers dude!
Great stuff. Art on youtube is a tough space. Keep up the great work! I’d love to know how you find RFPs. Some commentary on how you came up with the design. And your struggles on site to break up the timelapse. You did right by the city! I hope they give you more work!
Thank you so much! Just tryin to give back to the artist community. There were zero vids or tutorials when I first got started. I'll take that advice and show more of my process in upcoming vids. Cheers!
Exactly what kind of paint? I take it Nova was the brand. Was it acrylic? And did you sand it before starting? Fun to watch you working distant to close up and liked seeing the pre-sketch. It looks complex to map out. I too want to paint an electric box and the more specific on equipment and protocol the better:)
Yes, I used acrylic paint. In the past I might have used exterior acrylic from Home Depot, but Nova offers a wide variety of mural quality acrylics. They can be pricey however. The city cleaned and prepped the boxes for this project so I didnt need to sand it. Divide protocols based on equipment condition... good, decent, poor and whether the equipment is a bare metal, plastic casing, or painted metal. hope this helps
Awesome work ❤❤
