Joey, I spent 4 and half days in bed last week... same issues... sadness consumes. I called in to work, called into classes i am taking for electricity. One thing I did was make sure my laptop had RUclips playing non-stop- your channel is one of my safe channels to watch. This channel has been an escape for me for 3 years now. My Magic cards sit 3 feet away from my bed--my coin collection right next to it. When i finally come up from that rabbit hole, i will find chip bags- -pop cans-- candy bar wrappers -- everything all over my bed, floor. This past time I took all my clothes and made a bed on my bed so i could curl up in it. Donta ever be ashamed it happens, keep your safe things close to where you hibernate. Even if you don't admit it... we feel it coming on most of the time. Be PROUD you came out of it. Every time is more experience points for the next time. I have a lot of Respect and Love for you and what you do. There are more like us watching your vids than you know, Don't ever be afraid or ashamed to talk or ask what's everyone safe items for a brain break??? Mine are Magic cards and Joey Moss!!!!
I feel you Joey! I'm mostly alone in my studio or at home as an artist/illustrator and I got what I feel you have. But I'm better now because I made some changes to my life. Get out and walk, gym, burn that black ooze away in the belly. Get out and have fun with real people without alcohol. I quit alcohol some 3.5 years ago, never looked back. I got less roller-coaster feelings and that helps a ton. Friday night magic and Tuesday hobby nights, painting miniatires, holding courses and painting stuff just for myself for fun together with others have done wonders. That's two days per week I know I get out from my bubble. Internet in itself doesn't give that human interaction like sitting among others. Even for an introvert like me it's needed! Love your videos and I'm sure the dip will turn upwards soon!

I also struggle a ton with depression and anxiety, and I really appreciate you being open about it. It's hard man - you feel like you're climbing your way out of it and for whatever reason, you slip back down into it. Are there things that trigger it? Is it chemicals? What is it? Hard to say man. All I know is that if you keep at it, you do get through it, and most importantly - it's worth it. So keep on keeping on man because you should know that your content brings a lot of joy to a lot of people, many of them who have similar issues. When we see your positivity and your tenacity, like I said it's infectious. Makes us feel like we can climb out of it too. And when you're down, that's okay too because it lets us know that we're not alone in this. 👊👊

Aye bro, I don't know you but I just got back into paper magic (My mom torched all my cards from beta till nemesis when I moved out lmao) bought my first collector booster this morning after watching a vid (hit nothing but very fun....or addictive). Just wanted to comment on the isolation thing, I got clean 7 years ago and even after kicking drugs I really had a hard time integrating, usually wanted to play mtg but refused to socialize. It feels ok at first, and you get into a rhythm of doing your own thing, but it catches up to you later on in a big way. Do your best to socialize even if its like 30 minutes a day, having some form of pillars you can lean on in terms of friends/family is major. Most things you're worrying about won't be an issue in 5 years from now, so try to put everything in perspective, hard in the moment but in the grand scale of things we're all doing our best. Sweet seeing the ragavan pull. My buddies and I each bought one box of collector boosters of MOM, and we each pulled a ragavan. One got regular foil , one got halo foil and I got serial numbered 387/500. Was very very hype.

Loved opening Core 2021 collector booster. Ended up Pulling a play set of Ugins between two booster boxes and one collector box.

I got a whole case and kept a box for myself and I had a great time pulling THREE fetches. (Also nice ragavan, I remember pulling one in MH2 and my soul returned to my body in that moment.)

Normally, I just watch channels I subscribe to and never comment. I usually leave a like and move right along, but hearing your usually cheerful self open up I couldn't leave without saying something. Thank you for telling us how you feel. As someone dealing with depression and anxiety it feels kind of pointless and that nothing can make it better, but for what it's worth you are not alone and we appreciate you. Sweet seeing the ragavan pull. My buddies and I each bought one box of collector boosters of MOM, and we each pulled a ragavan. One got regular foil , one got halo foil and I got serial numbered 387/500. Was very very hype.
