      I think so too, but nothing goes flying off of the machine, the dust though is a concern. In my 3yrs of working there and others 20yrs+, no one has any health issues so far.

    Are these bias-ply tires or radial tires with wire in the tires if so I see the bead wire gets pulled what happens if it's a Steel radial and the other wire is throughout the rest of the Tire carcass?

    • @roberttill3787
      @roberttill3787 5 лет назад

      it does not matter if they are bias ply or radial, the bead wire is the same in both. The sidewall does not contain wire reinforcing, the plys in the sidewall are usually something like rayon.

  • @austrorus
    @austrorus 8 лет назад +5

    cool, pulling out the wires first eliminates later on an expensive magnet to get out all steel. and suppose it is also easier on the shredder? one thought though. the back ground noise is far to loud. one can nearly not hear the comment. maybe the text should be spoken separately and added on later?

    • @kendelion
      @kendelion  8 лет назад

      Yes, the wire is too thick for the grinder, it will wear it out quickly. I was planning on putting subs herr but I'm too busy and i also cant hear my own voice lol. Thanks for dropping by!

    • @austrorus
      @austrorus 8 лет назад

      +Kitsune Ken you are welcome, i like to see interesting and new things. because in the EU or USA ( videos) i never have seen a wire puller. there they throw the whole tire into the shredder and get out the meal with a strong magnet. which costs much more than to pull out the wire. but suppose labor there is more expensive. so it costs to much to have 3 or four people to handle each tire by hand.

    • @kendelion
      @kendelion  8 лет назад

      austrorus Yeah i see videos even whole bikes and cars are thrown in to the grinder! Here 1 person can handle the wire puller, converyer and grinder so it's also just needs 1 salary man. After the wires are pulled, it goes into the press and sold as metal.

    • @austrorus
      @austrorus 8 лет назад

      +Kitsune Ken
      indeed it is so. and than they need an expensive machine to sort out the glass, another one for aluminium,another one for steel. they say it is expensive to sort out everything by hand right in the beginning. to me recycling means only to send things to the yard that can not be used anymore. but it is not to be like that, well, so be it.

      They're remelted and made into new tires!

    • @mibars
      @mibars 8 лет назад

      Kitsune Ken That's not possible, at least not in that straight way... They still contain steel and nylon cords, dirt and so on, also rubber once vulcanized cannot be simply melted and moulded again. There must be some more complicated process here!
