When you were moving it around it would have been good to hear the result, most of your review was done on your lav.
great that it moves around smooth, but would it be heard (most likely)
Fair comment, yes you will pick up noise through the mic moving it around. A lot of the review was going through specs / unboxing etc hence the lav but I appreciate you taking the time to comment 👍🏻

@@SamiaAtayde Not that I could hear. You don't have to have the gain very loud to pick up your vocal so it shouldn't be an issue and it seems quite good at reflecting noise from the back and sides

Hi I recently got this mic for my pc, problem is every time I switch my pc on I had to reconnect the cable to the mic in order for my system to pick it up again. I’ve even set all system/recording settings for the mic to be default. Is this normal??

I bought this mic but even though i did the appropriate set ups, it still doesn't sound as crisp as yours. The audio i got was a bit too echo/mono/ rough kind of tone. What should i do?? Any advice?
What are you recording into? Which software, interface etc?
@@neilcollinsrecording I am using Audacity. Just straight forward procedures. Install the software and begin recording.

Hello, please reply, does it pick up background noise, such as ceiling fan noise or vehicle horn 20 30 feet away,
And Please tell how much delay in voice happens by monitoring jack, one can sing with monitoring???
Condenser mics will always pick up a bit of noise depending on where the fan / horn is etc but there is a good deal of rejection on this mic. For a budget mic the noise on this is minimal. You can plug your earphones directly into the mic so no delay in terms of monitoring

Still confused about this Boya PM500 or Thronmax Mdrill One Pro M2P.
Which is the best for the sound quality..?
I can't speak for the Thronmax I'm afraid as haven't used it?
Can you record high quality music with it?( like vocals,singing)
I haven't tested it out on singing but it will certainly get you an ok result. It's like anything if you want recording studio quality vocals you'll need a recording studio and a grade A vocal compressor mic but if you are self recording music then I don't see why you couldn't get a decent vocal with this mic 👍

If we connect a box speaker with aux cable to this mic. Does the sound output of the speaker again goes into the mic and it keeps on echoing? Please answer this. Should we put only headphones in the aux slot.
Plugging a speaker in will create a loop so I’d use it for headphones only 👍🏻

Ioannes Cianus I haven’t actually used that one but on first impression the build quality doesn’t look quite so good and no real need for the omni directional function? Is it a similar price?
@@neilcollinsrecording Cheers for replying instantaneously, mate! Wasn't expecting. Anyhow, they are fairly within the same price range though the store owner told me that Boya BY-PM500 has more capability of recording without whitenoise than Mauno. (AU903 is quite famous for having whitenoise while recording) Apparently, your review has been the only one put up online be it here on YT or some search engine such as Google. You're the only one I can ask bout it. Lol
@@ioannescianus1831 There are tutorials on the PM700 but yes not so much the PM500! I'd try and get rid of as much excess noise as you can would be my advice. the PM500 has an excellent build quality and from what I have heard from my recordings so far its a good sounding mic for the price

Oh! And last question. Did you edit the parts wherein you used the PM500? Cause it seems like it really is quiet. I didn't hear any background noise nor whitenoise.
@@ioannescianus1831 I haven't used the PM700 but from what I understand they are pretty much the same but with multiple polar patterns. I have done some minor EQ on the mic but I really didn't notice much noise

It’s all subjective I guess. My room is t sound treated so I prefer to use close mics but thanks for the feedback and for watching 👍🏻
