Yeah man I think so too. So far we haven’t had any mice inside since I plugged everything. I just have to stay proactive and check underneath the house weekly until we get up here full time.
@@7sigmaoff-grid just make sure you arent crawling under there when its not cold outside, you want it to be as cold as it can get. I wouldn't be crawling under there when it's warm...snakes
We had mice that eventually grew to rats. Nothing worked. It was awful. My husband went to the local feed and seed and we bought a box of wafers. 10 days.... Gone! Good to do before you get cats, dogs. They have great ideas for stuffing holes. Good luck! You guys are delightful!!
You both had me 😂😂 the entire video❤❤….. Totally get it…the cost= do it yourself…..and to your wife’s defense…… I have had many stove and never use that bottom ( jigamaju😅) oven/part….. 🤞🏽🤞🏽 no more 🐁 Another great video on your journey….see you both next week….be safe!
Wow...those mice out there are a huge problem. I would really hate that, but I know it goes with the territory. Hopefully when you are living there full time that will take care of the problem. At least you will be there daily to check for more holes etc. Good luck with those nasty critters. I have to say though, they are cute little guys but cause so much destruction and probably carry disease.
The home builder should have sealed that all up, they should have known they had the delivery address, even the wire for the taillights hanging loose under there. Good thing that I only saw the frame tag because I would be phoning the builder up for some Constructive criticism. I get $200 travel time charges for trades work here. A lot of people that live close by would drop the tress for free if they could keep the wood. Put a sign at the road free wood you chop call the #, one more thing off the list. Sig solar is helpful, got the ends on the wire already 👍. I am happy you didn't pour dirt on the frames yet. That mouse maybe the first creature born in your house, maybe why it had no larvae pushing out of it. Previously I wrongly suggested more solar but wow every video you have sun in winter, I got direct sun Nov7 40kw, Dec18 14kw and the 29th 12kw , every other day 5kw charge and 7kw totals lately. I think most people would love to come and help you 2. 22 hour drive in a 99 pathfinder I don't think I will make it haha.
I agree with you, that's some sloppy work fromm the builder, but hey, now we know...lesson learned! Thats a great idea about the sign. I'll post on Nextdoor (neighborhood app) and see if anyone bites. But I do need to get familiar with the chainsaw and get some practice. I'll at least start with the smaller tree and see if don't kill myself first...LOL I've already poured dirt, gravel and mounted the panels on the first row. Unfortunately, one of the mounts shifted somehow which caused one panel to be cockeyed. Will try to fix tomorrow...fingers crossed. Yeah, the weather here is mild in the winter(for the most part). Might get a week's worth of rain late Jan, and a few days of snow in late Feb early March. Other than that it's mostly sunny during the winter. I appreciate the sentiment sir! It would be cool to have you come down so I could meet you and learn...but a 22 hour drive in a 99 pathfinder would be pushing it for sure..LOL. Will definitely reach out to you via email for tips when it's wiring time. Thanks again Bob!

OK since you asked. Possum surprise. I large head of cauliflower 2 smaller heads broccoli Use only the florets or cut the stalks into really small pieces 8 ounce bag shredded cheddar cheese About half of a large Purple onion At least a pound of diced bacon fried crisp (like bacon bits) Mayonnaise as a binding agent. Use as much or little as you like. And you thought you didn’t like Possum. 😉😁 You city folks gonna starve in the comin food shortage. (You probably don’t like Rocky Mt Oysters either do ya? And Rooster “Fries”, bread them in egg and flower, deep fry them and enjoy! 😁

so i’m gonna just talk about the tree removal…. you all live several hours out of town. that tree trimmer has to drive to your property and then drive back. then he has to actually cut down the trees you want- not sure if it includes stump removal or not. and also not sure if he is cutting up those 4 trees or not, that takes some time. and not sure if he is hauling off the wood or not. this man has to pay for gas- in both directions, gas for his chainsaws, his time/labor- which 4hours of this is probably just driving. and probably another 4-6 hours, if not more, on the trees- he’s gotta charge for his labor cost for himself and anyone else he brings to help. i don’t think that was a bad price at all. there’s times when you should be cheap or “bootleg” as you call it, and then times when you pay a professional to do the job.
Thanks for the input Wendy. I run my own company and have been in business for over 30 years, so I understand expenses such as labor, time and materials. However, we have also received several quotes off camera and his was the highest and way overpriced compared to the others. That’s the beauty of capitalism and being a professional, because competition is the great equalizer. There’s always a professional who can be found at a competitive and more reasonable price😉
Please get help! You guys need some family members to come up to help you . Just have them bring tents and food. And rent a potty rental with a shower. I like y'all!
Man, I been bit by black widows so many times it aint funny...and scorpions, and twice by copperheads. Black widows dont like injecting you with poison because they save it for prey, most times you get just a lil bit and it burns like someone put a cigarette out on your skin. More active at night too. Poison doesn't really work on them because unlike most spiders they are slick and the poison doesn't stick on them, so the way to kill them is to physically do it or by spraying a poison that works on them directly on them....but the preventative stuff not so much, or at least I haven;t found anything that works. Scorpions are parts of the spider family and I've heard that diatomaceous earth has helped some folks with them and other insects. they basically crawl through it ant it slices them up lol.
Damn man…you’ve been bitten by so many creatures and so many times , it gave you superpowers. That’s why you know so much about damn near everything. I need to go get bit too. LOL
