Is there a greater city than Melbourne, Victoria? Not only do you have a great tram and bus system, but chess seems to be everywhere! It seemed there was a whole section of tables in the Victoria State Library, and then you have the whole Melbourne Chess Club! I am envious and wish you nothing but more enjoyment of your beautiful city! Saludos desde San Francisco, CA, USA!
Hey there, I m in Melbourne as well ! Got the exact same HOS chess board and same dgt limited edition clock ( from your other video) ! We should meet for a game sometime :) I got the wild knight chess pieces and the club chess pieces from HOS . Let me know :) the dgt eboard that connects to the clock is really cool and worth it if you like playing online or against a computer program but still want to have the over the board experience like in a club. I use it all the time. Sorry cant seem to message you privately :)
At 6:36 you should have moved Nxf3 and taken the Bishop and sacked the Q. Once black took the Q on g1 with the rook you could have moved the Knight on f3 to g1 with Nxg1 and taken the rook back and gone up to pieces. And if he hadnt moved his other Rook after that, the King cpuld have taken the Rook on e2. After that white would have had it in the bag.
@@Fabianbrito1998 Nice. I got my Lardy reproduction set from Royal Chess Mall. It's my favorite basic wooden set. I prefer the Knights of this set over the basic club and German Knight sets. House of Chess sells a real awesome basic set called Popular Staunton. The Knights from that set have greater detail with the rest of the set similar to the Lardy design.

At 7:37 he should have put his bishop to h6 and then put the rook there right after and I would have been mate
Is that a reproduction Lardy set? Looks more like a new Lardy set over the Basic Club set. I have a Lardy repro set in Ebonized Boxwood.
Hi Chris! This is a Dal Rossi French Lardy set of pieces :)

Good timer and men but black and white squares are the worse
