    It's called quality. You can never compare this to Oreck. These Philips motors last decades without service. They are meant to last unlike Oreck motors what are fragile and poor quality.

    Why do manufactures in Europe use a pressed on cap to retain the fan? So frustrating because you can never remove the fan to replace the bearings. I have an Oreck DutchTech DTX1400 which is a Philips product and the motor can't be disassembled. Same for most Electrolux AB motors.

      Same thing is with US cars at the time. They failed a lot so they needed to be serviced.

      You mean power supply? There is no need for this unless you live in us where voltage is 120v. Then you need step up voltage converter from 120v to 240v.

      ​@@vacuumtests9225 we technically are using 220v we can switch our wiring to 220 just by adding the second 120 line or just make an adapter that fits both 120 plug ins
