1 hour in the outdoor gym is all you need to burn off a few Miller Lites👊🏻 That road must have been loud. You had your ear muffs on the whole time🤣 I forget I have mine on all the time and I’m yelling when talking to Evan🤣👍🏻👍🏻🍻🇺🇸
Don, nice road side logging video! Liked how you shot put the rounds over the log! Next Bunyan! Woodhound 16" round Shot Put competition! Coming in first place with a throw of 75' 6" Don Scheib Woooo!
That was some pretty nice looking wood Scheib. Every little bit is going to help. That's how I used to haul all my firewood till I got some trailers to haul it in. Stay safe my friend 🍻🍻
I love smaller limbwood/young trees like that. Not only is it a hell of a lot easier to move around and get in my truck, but much of what you cut was two or even one popper wood.
Nice load of rounds. The sound fm the 500ii is raw n mean I gotta wonder why a new saw would need a suspension kit already?? Thanx for sharing and be safe.👍
Hey my friend... you must have been a shot puter back in the day the way you were launching those rounds! Have you thought about looking into a capstan type winch like Larry Hotel has on his tractor? It sure would be nice to pull those logs up the bank and closer to your truck. "keep Moving"
Catch the Fever. LOL! I usually take early morning drives to spot roadside opportunities and have spoken to local line clearing crews on where they'll be cutting next. That's actually been very good! Scheib, do you spot these trees during your local travels?
I cut wood myself on the weekends for our secondary heat, so much down I call it cleaning up the forest floor
Firewood shotput - new barnyard Olympics activity.
Nice dead oak there Scheib! Cut on brother👍🤘🍻
schieb is like me he gets it all i get every piece i can
I'm watching this on the exact same day that you made this last year. Happy Winter Solstice.
Best exercise - and like the logs - FREE!
I like your new video today you did a really good job this is a nice firewood you have love your video 🍺 🍺
Glad you enjoyed it
If a man grunts in the forest throwing out rounds... does anybody hear? I love harvesting otherwise wasted wood! Great video Scheib.

Scheib looks like you’re getting ready for the ARMY Physical Fitness test.. The way you’re throwing those pieces of wood around. LOL
Another nice score of firewood
Seems like that roadside logging is a gold mine. And a workout! Win-win brother! Keep it up!
You got that right!
It’s like you’re being paid to work out 😊
You definitely got nice load quickly that 500 got some power a
Gotta love the 5:33 Scheib-in-action face that silently says “Yup..this wood knows who’s its daddy!” 😂

Good work buddy. I need to get more cuttin videos up. That saw sound perfect. The road side wood reminded me of my childhood big time. Respect ✊🏻
Thanks 👍
That used to be my perfect day. Cutting wood, solo. Usually with a fire on the side.
Hey Scheib. I've been using my new MS 400 cm in the woodyard. I really love the new chainsaw. I also picked up a new Echo CS 620 p chainsaw.
Hello from Piqua, Ohio. keep up the great videos. The 500i sounds like it's running perfect!
Hey from Covington /Bradford area there’s a few Scheib’s over this way
That's hard work. Been there. It's fun until you get older
Holy shit Scheib that was a hell of a game of log toss. You are an animal man. Take care buddy.
That 500i was spitting out chips like a speedboats rooster tail. Good free wood score!
Don I would always want you on my side in dark woods shifty is old now ❤😮
Hello Scheib, Love the bark box sound! I cut the Rakers down and mine is a beast, Power to spare! Take Care my friend 🚜🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Thanks, you too!
SCHEIB IS A GOD
Love it!!! I do the same in Germany :)
The best!
Saw is working great. Nice load in a short time. Hard work Scheib!!
You sure get a lot done in an hour! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks, you too!

You my friend are working like a 'rented mule' !
Scheib, you are super human throwing them logs! lol. Great video as always!
Thanks 👍
Oak shot puts
Hell of a workout. Some don't realize we don't need a gym.
Great work.
Mmm, I wouldn't say that. Actually working out would improve the lives of so many tradesmen
Super akce aj mašina jen tak dál chlapče zlatá 🐿️💸🏫🌊🦁🚜🔥😂🐺😆🐉🐲🐻😝😀😉🌲🐑😋🐘🔨😛👀👀👀♥️♥️♥️💪💪💪💪 lesu zdar
That is some great looking firewood. Might you have access to a winch ? You could cut the stems and get them a lot closer to the road.
Good job like allways. Merry Christmas
Thanks, you too!
You are a hard working man scheib. You should sell that wood. for $200 a face cord.
Im a Poulan guy myself, your saw looks like its rigging threw that wood
the 500I is probably the best all around saw out there right now. i would highly recommend it if its within the budget
Wife asked me what I was watching and I said scheib she said he sounds like he is giving birth I said he is the proud father of an oak tree
🤣🤣
🤣🤣👍
Watching you toss those rounds make me wonder is it worth it. (Yes it is) take care. Saw looks like it is a beast for cutting
Did you ever consider a hitch mounted winch to pull the logs to the truck
yes I have I am looking for a capstan style
Nice load of rounds. The sound fm the 500ii is raw n mean
I gotta wonder why a new saw would need a suspension kit already?? Thanx for sharing and be safe.👍
I wouldn't say it needed it but that is 1 place it is lacking in my opinion. I felt it just needed a little more rigidity.
I use a Fiskars picakaroon too and have broken many of the tips and had to make use of thier lifetime warranty. Have you broken many?
No I haven’t not yet anyway
Is road wood like road head? Asking for a friend....
I'm 76 years old. I can't toss em anymore. I use a wheelbarrow now.

Hey man, what brand tonneau cover is on you're truck?
It is made by RETRAX
A quicky on the roadside haha. So did you ever try out for the Olympics in shot put?
Nope lol
Not quite the Scottish highland deal there buddy for practice
working harder than a mexican roofer
Ever try log tongs?
I have seen them but never thought of use it them.
@@OutsidewithScheib You should give them a try. I have two different sizes as well. Doubles as a shoulder shrug workout too! 👍🏻🍺
Catch the Fever. LOL! I usually take early morning drives to spot roadside opportunities and have spoken to local line clearing crews on where they'll be cutting next. That's actually been very good! Scheib, do you spot these trees during your local travels?
I'd say he knows the land owner.
You need to winch the logs out to the road before you cut.
Bark box howlin’!
I been meaning to ask you about noodling. Does it wear on your chain more than normal cutting or do you use a special rip chain?
I am sure it does but i sharpen pretty offten so i cant really tell.
You need a winch on the front of the truck, winch it out to roadside in 8’ lengths the buck it beside the truck and a lot less walking and hassle 🤔
Lol what’s the fun in that 😂 j/k I know I am working on it 🍺🍺🤘🏻🤘🏻
Man what a dream to cut! All looks like good stuff to! What camera pans in and out? GoPro 10?
Thanks man. As far as panning in and out its part of the software I use to edit its called the ken burns effect.
@@OutsidewithScheib ahhh that’s cool. Definitely makes it more fun to watch. Have fun man! Don’t forget chaps!
Cut only what your truck will hold because by the time you come back for the next load, it will be gone!
So true
No need for a gym membership when you do this!
deer sled needed there
OH, Scheib don't tell me your falling in line with some of the others with their under 15min videos THEY SUCK. Your channel is much better than that.
