Things like halt army /reveal shroud , force peace . Are really good for hunting lords. You get 2 best lords early on. Which is azal and festus. Festus can heal any unit, this is really strong in general. If you want to doomstack he is your best option. Azal can 1v1 anything and kill it, you wont need other lords anymore. He is very fast, so you can get into postion, change back and cast tzeentch magic. But by far his best use is sieges. They become less of hassle, as you just fly to the capture point and change back. Throgg/vlad are also good options to get early.
So, ... a question. Can't find an answer anywhere, perhaps you know? Why is my changeling in fact NOT hidden at all to any faction I'm at war with? Their armies will relentlessly pursue me even when I'm hidden AND in 80% ambush stance - HOW??!
If the settlement is razed, it won't help you. Also, check and see if your army is in a region with a cult. It could be bugged so go in and out of the region. Know this is really late.
Okay so some tips, ambushes work great if you know where they might move or have a second army you can put to raiding to lure them to your major army. Otherwise its super hard to get battles, its one of the biggest complaints about the faction that settlement battles dont count for schemes. Another move is to not stay in your safe land but venture out to do battle, the issue is the Ai will only attack if it can win, so ambushes are pretty much the only strategy

I think tzeentch and skaven are my favourite factions. Now i got a tzeentch LL which spams undercities.

You need to have the correct cult in the land in which you are standing otherwise they can find out. Otherwise check your mods maybe?
