Thanks Bryan, I can't believe I didn't include that in the description (I mean I have everything else in there). I added in two of them to the description, but the one I am using here are these: amzn.to/30aYqkw Thanks for watching.
Good question John, on these I do not. The cholla wood skeleton is very dry and dense, so I never had a problem with them in resin. If I was combining them or used a larger piece for in a resin bowl or turning it by itself, then I probably would stabilize it first.
Beautiful pens from a plant we Floridians have never heard of. You said you glued the Cholla blanks into your molds. Exactly what do you use to do that? Thanks !!
Hi Tom, that is a plant native to the desert (looks like you need a road trip for wood gathering :). To glue anything down in molds so they don't float when the resin is poured, I just use a small amount of hot glue to keep them in place.
Very creative great job
Thank you so much 😊 and thanks for watching.
Great looking pens
Thank you sir
Very nice work
Thanks Drone Wild.
Hi there!
Very good job, really great. 👍
Greetings from my Austrian channe
Thank Charly, great to have you here on my channel. Thanks for watching
very good vid. unable to find the plant in the uk. but it has me thinking of other plants .thanks lignator jack.
I sure there are other woods you can use over there in the UK. Thanks for watching.
What is your procedure for drilling for the brass tube? Any different than other blanks?
The drilling is the same as all the other Pen I do. The steps are the same for these pens as any other blanks you will use.
Funny intro John 😁 I watched it few times.
Original idea with cholla. Those pens looks very nice. I like it 👌
Thanks Rav, just trying to be as creative as you are. I loved that Oceans landscape diorama you did. Take care my friend.
@@MadNerdWorkshop I thought that I'm trying to be as creative as You 😁 especially with segmented projects. Open - those my favourite 👌
Great video. What mold did you use for your resin pour? I didn't see it in your list.

@@MadNerdWorkshop Very nice, thank you. :)
Did you stabilize the colla before casting?
