The technician has fixed my old computer and I have lost no data at all. If you follow me on Twitter, you already know all the details and the lesson about compass errors will be published next. A question that I asked and just few people answered right, stay tuned! :D
Such a great suprise!!!. LEAS/OVD is my hometown airport. I never thought it could be used as an example although I have to recognise it is a challenging airport considering the weather in this part of Spain, mostly cloudy (and foggy in the early morning) and the Rwy29 ends in a cliff. I really enjoyed the video because I really know the airport. I hope you still continue using LEAS/OVD for future examples. Thanks
On the STAR the minimum altitude for the leg is lower than the minimum sector altitude, so it takes priority? I take it there is no maximum altitude for the leg? Also no line under the altitude to say it's 'minimum' so does that convention only apply to waypoint altitudes?
Could you please explain the points (MASIP BASUK KUVAN etc.), their use, their naming convention, their positioning, and whether they are virtual points on a map or physical radio stations? From what I gather they are virtual fixes/waypoints/intersections that are defined by distance and bearing from a single VOR or the intersection of two VORs. By the way it would be nice to supplement this video with one that teaches you how to reference these values and terminologies from on-board flight instruments! Knowing how to read a map is useless without knowing how to use a compass!
Hey VAS, if you would like to do a video on low, and high enroute charts, and maybe an example flight using a transition and STAR, I’d find that extremely helpful. Love the background music by the way 😄

Did you learn any lessons about data integrity and backups from this? :-)
Absolutely yes! :D
Your channel with these lessons and atc transcript videos is a real gem, please keep up the good work!
Wow, thanks for your support :D

Fixes or intersections are virtual invented points based on VORs, NDBs or coordinates.
Thanks!
